Sohail Khan Takes Responsibility For Divorce From Seema Sajdeh, Says, 'I Lost Someone I Truly Loved'

The former couple reunited on-screen after Seema Sajdeh decided to enter the show as a wildcard contestant. Meanwhile, during a conversation with his housemates in the show, Sohail took the responsibility for the end of his marriage. He admitted that he deeply respects Seema, and his own behaviour during a challenging phase made him lose her.
Sohail Khan reveals the reason for his divorce from Seema Sajdeh
After Seema Sajdeh entered the house, her ex-husband, Sohail Khan, seemed happy to see her. He made her green tea, and they shared a good bond. Eventually, Nikhil Chinappa told Sohail that a woman can make or break a home. In turn, he asked him what happened in his and Seema's case. In his reply, Sohail admitted that his career struggles had affected his state of mind. Therefore, he ended up hurting her. In his words:
"At that time, Kaam theek nahi chal raha tha (my work wasn't going well), so I wasn't in the right frame of mind. Because of my behaviour, I lost someone I truly loved."
But Sohail has no bitter feelings from his split from Seema. Instead, he spoke fondly of her and said that his respect for her has only grown over the years. Opening up about their bond post-divorce, he said:
"She is the mother of my two beautiful children, so more than love, I have immense respect for Seema. This will always remain a memorable show for me. Though we are separated, this show has brought us back together to talk and confide in one another. There was a missing link between us, and this show helped reconnect it."
Later, in the episode, Seema even mentioned that Sohail was her "only ally" in the house. In fact, the episode also gave a glimpse into the family's current dynamics. The Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives star revealed that her younger son, Yohan, has been supporting her throughout her journey on Alliance. However, her elder son, Nirvaan, wants his father, Sohail, to win the competition.
Meanwhile, Sohail also discussed their co-parenting arrangement during a conversation with Zaid Darbar. The Tubelight actor shared that both his sons currently live with him. However, he revealed that Seema visits their home thrice a week to spend time with the children. At the same time, she still has a key to the house.
Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh's love story
Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh's relationship has long been one of Bollywood's most talked-about love stories. They reportedly eloped before getting married in 1998. Later, they had an Arya Samaj wedding followed by a traditional nikkah ceremony.
The couple continued to live together for the next 24 years and welcomed two sons, Nirvaan and Yohan. But, after spending more than two decades together, they shocked everyone when they decided to go their separate ways in 2022.
But despite the divorce, Sohail and Seema remain on good terms. The latter is often seen attending the Khan family's gatherings. Simultaneously, she and Sohail have maintained a relationship for the sake of their kids.

After her divorce from Sohail, Seema Sajdeh gave another chance at love with businessman Vikram Ahuja. Interestingly, Vikram was Seema's former fiancé in the '90s, before she married Sohail. In fact, she publicly confirmed their relationship during the finale of Netflix's Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives.
For those unaware, Vikram is the son of late banker Devendra Ahuja and the brother of Bobby Deol's wife, Tanya Deol. Seema had also mentioned that her elder son, Nirvaan, has been supportive of her decision to move forward in her life.
