Sneha and Prasanna are one of the most talked about couples in Tollywood. The duo never leaves a chance to paint the town red with their mushy romance. Be it through paparazzi or through their social media handles, it seems their love has only blossomed with each passing day. Having joined the film industry almost simultaneously, it was love on the sets for the two of them.

Sneha and Prasanna had joined Tollywood almost simultaneously within two years. However, they were complete strangers, unaware of each other’s presence until they were paired together for the first time in the film, Achamundu Achamundu in the year 2009. Despite being completely opposite to each other by nature, they hit off as good friends. In an interview, Sneha had once mentioned how it was destiny’s call for her to pick up a movie which led to meeting her future husband. In her words:
“There were a couple of other scripts that came to me along with Achamundu Achamundu. I picked this one because I felt that the script was very powerful.”
Well, their pairing on-screen was so much of a hit that almost immediately, fans speculated that the duo was dating each other. However, it was completely the opposite in reality. During their film’s shooting schedule in the U.S., the duo though spent a lot of time together, nothing more crossed between them except for being just true friends. Moreover, Prasanna at that time had just come out of a breakup and he treated this outdoor shooting schedule as a way to escape his troubles. Nevertheless, they were aware at the same time that their growing friendship would definitely be mistaken as something else. In an interview, Sneha mentioned:
“Initially we used to be hesitant to go out and watch films. We didn’t know how the media would perceive it and we were really just friends. The only actor my mother trusted me with back then was Prasanna. The rumour ordeal didn’t particularly act in their favour as expected. But I really wanted to break the stereotype of how co-stars being friends would only be romantic and nothing else.”
Contrary to all such rumours about their romantic fling, the duo continued with their choicest friendship until, however, the moment, when an action taken by Prasanna had hinted at something else entirely. It was so that during their trip to Malaysia for the shoot of their film, there was a moment when Prasanna revealed his possessive side towards Sneha as he mildly got offended when the latter spoke to too many people. Recalling that particular incident, Sneha once mentioned:
“We went to a star show in Malaysia, and the chatterbox that I am, I was talking to everybody. Prasanna pulled me aside and said, why do you have to talk to everybody?”

Even after realising their love for one another, incidentally, Prasanna never proposed marriage to Sneha, as they felt it was more of a mutual understanding between them. Their falling in love was so gradual that they never felt the need to do the filmy act of proposing on one knee. In an interview many years after their marriage, Prasanna had opened up on this part of their love story and had revealed:
“It was a very gradual thing. We didn’t even realize that we were falling in love with each other. In fact, till this moment I haven’t even properly proposed to her. “
After dating one another for three years, the couple finally tied the knot on May 11, 2012. Surely, their marriage was a grand ceremony as it celebrated their unique companionship and love among all. Interestingly, while the couple, on many occasions, simply denied their dating rumours for a long time, it was right before their wedding that Prasanna had finally nodded a yes to his wedding rumours. To make their union almost immemorial, the couple had also opted to get their wedding telecasted.
Nearly about 12 years of their marriage, the couple’s love for one another has never changed a bit. While one may cite the foundation of a happy marriage to be a lot of adjustments, however, it is completely the opposite for this Tollywood couple. Once, Sneha revealed the reason that kept them bound in love to date, and it was nothing more than being the biggest support of each other. In her words:
“When he was going through an all-time low in his career, I would talk him through it. At the same time when I was going through problems myself with all the controversies and gossips, he used to lend me his shoulder to cry on. After a few years of marital bliss, the couple started their family and hopped onto their journey of parenthood with the arrival of their son, Prasanna Vihaan in 2014. The couple completed their family with the arrival of their baby girl, Adhyantaa in 2020. In all, the four of them make for a lovely family together.
