The management company also clarified that the duo's joint appearance was due to their shared friends. They described Kim Go Eun as a "close friend" or "dongsaeng" (younger sister) whose social circle overlaps with G-Dragon's. The agency admitted that the two of them were well-acquainted; however, they vehemently refuted the possibility of a romantic relationship.
