'Silo' Season 3 Premiere Ending Explained, Who Is The Person Behind Erasing 'Jules' Memory? Find Out

Well, the wait is finally over as Silo Season 3 has already been released on July 3, 2026, bringing back ‘Jules’ (Rebecca Ferguson) to Silo 18. However, the biggest question that remains after the Silo Season 3 premiere is why ‘Jules’ suddenly cannot remember anything.
Silo Season 3 ending explained: What happened to ‘Jules’ memory?
The moment that ‘Juliette’ a.k.a ‘Jules’ wakes up, she is unable to remember almost anything. Although she has flashes of ‘Bernard’ telling her that she needed to do something, she couldn't remember what exactly the task was. Due to her condition, ‘Juliette' falls under the care of ‘Camille Sims’ (Alexandria Riley), who acts as both her nurse and personal assistant.
It is worth noting that ‘Jules’ not only forgets all about the time that she spent with ‘Solo’ (Steve Zahn) in Silo 17 but also fails to recognise most of the people that she grew up with. While ‘Shirley’ is worried that the old ‘Jules’ whom they all knew is gone for good, ‘Knox’ (Shane McRae) refuses to lose hope and believes that her memory will definitely return one day.
Initially, it appears as if ‘Juliette's’ memory loss was caused by the injuries that she had suffered during the explosion we saw at the end of Silo Season 2. However, the truth is way more disturbing as the Season 3 premiere reveals ‘Camille’ has secretly been taking orders from the mysterious Algorithm. It had instructed ‘Camille’ to suppress ‘Juliette’s’ memories while also replacing them with false ones.
Soon enough, ‘Juliette’ begins noting the holes in the official story. For instance, realises that there was no way for her to have planned to re-enter the silo, as she did not know ‘Bernard’ would open the airlock. This leads ‘Camille' to find a way to reinforce the deception.
She proceeds to show ‘Juliette' a clip where she could see herself taking shelter in a bunker before she returned home. Additionally, the Algorithm also commands ‘Camille’ to double the dose that she was originally giving to her to suppress her memories.
Thankfully for ‘Juliette', there is someone who knows about ‘Camille's’ plans and warns the former about the same. She receives a note that is perfectly hidden inside a capsule in her soup. The note reads:
“Want to know the truth. Leave your bowl upside down. Go to the marketplace at 2. Burn this.”
As per the instructions, ‘Juliette' burns the note before anyone realises that she has been warned. Now, with her memories slowly starting to resurface, and with the anonymous person seemingly on her side, the premiere ends on the note that ‘Juliette' is on the right path to uncover what had happened to her after she had left Silo 18.
Does ‘Robert Sims’ tell the truth to ‘Juliette'?
For those unaware, ‘Robert Sims' tells ‘Juliette' that ‘Bernard' passed away after the flames melted his suit. This resulted in him getting poisoned by the atmosphere. However, this is not the entire truth. Only later do the viewers realise that even though ‘Bernard's’ suit melted at the time, he survived. However, ‘Robert’ ended up killing his former boss by suffocating him.
Notably, the first episode of Silo Season 3 also dove into a number of other things like the mysterious group known as the Outsiders. But more of their secrets will only be revealed in the upcoming episodes of the show.
