Popular Punjabi singer, Sidhu Moose Wala is no longer with us, and his murder has sent shockwaves across the Punjabi music industry and Indian politics. While on one side, the political parties are pointing fingers at each other over the issue of the big drop in the security provided to the singer. On the other hand, the singer's family and fans are deeply saddened to bid farewell to the 28-year-old singer with so much potential. With songs like 295, Famous, Jatt Da Muqabala, Same Beef, Calaboose, The Last Ride and the list goes on, Sidhu Moose Wala had created a name for himself in the Punjabi music industry.
For the unversed, Canada-based gangster, Goldy Brar has claimed the full responsibility for Sidhu Moose Wala's murder and had admitted it publicly in a Facebook post that he himself with Sachin Bishnoi Dhattaranwali and Lawrence Bishnoi among others are behind Sidhu's death. The murder had happened on May 29, 2022, in Jawaharke village of the Mansa district.

According to reports, late Punjabi singer, Sidhu Moose Wala's father, Balkaur Singh sent an emotional letter to the Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann and demanded a CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) or NIA (National Investigative Agency) probe into his son's murder case. The father also shared that his son was receiving constant threat calls of murder and extortion from a number of gangsters in the past months.
The doing father, Balkaur Singh also strongly opposed Punjab's DGP's alleged statement about referring to his son as a gangster and relating his innocent son's murder to a gang war. Not only this, a heartbroken father, who has lost his 28-year-old son also shared how his wife, Charan Kaur is asking him continuously about his son. An excerpt from his emotional letter to the Punjab CM can be read as:
"We want justice in our son's murder case. We demand the presence of a High Court judge and a probe led by NIA or CBI to find the culprits, who are responsible for our son's demise. We also demand strict punishable action against the people, who spread the news about the reduction in their son's security. His (Sidhu Moose Wala) mother is asking where my son is."

As per the latest reports, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann has reacted to Sidhu Moose Wala's father, Balkaur Singh's letter to him about a probe in his son's murder case. Reflecting on his demands, Bhagwant Mann ensured the singer's father that justice would be served in this case. The Chief Minister also stated that he would do everything in his power to punish the people, who were involved in Sidhu's murder. Bhagwant Mann also requested the family members to trust the legal and investigative process.
For the unversed, Sidhu Moose Wala was reportedly all set to tie the knot with his ladylove and even the former's mother, Charan Kaur had started preparing for her son's wedding.
