September 2, 2023, marked two years to actor, Sidharth Shukla’s death. The tragic death of Sidharth was one of the most shocking news of 2021. Sidharth, who was riding high on his professional front, bid adieu to the world after suffering a cardiac arrest. His untimely death devasted his family, friends, colleagues and his millions of fans.
As the glamour world remembers Sidharth, we got our hands on a throwback video of Sidharth from the promotions of his film, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. In the film, Sidharth was seen along with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. As the cast of the film went on to Kapil Sharma’s show to promote the film, Varun and Sidharth were seen trying to pull Alia’s leg.

In the video, Varun and Sidharth were seen pulling a prank on Alia by revealing that Alia is too self-centred. Sidharth pointed out that if Alia reached the set first and he and Varun came late, then there would be bawaal. At that point, Varun joined Sidharth and stated that since Karan Johar considered Alia as his daughter, he didn’t tell him.
In the same segment, Sidharth Shukla also jokingly said that Alia was so self-centred that she got a scene deleted from the film, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania because she didn’t feature in it. In his words:
“There was a scene between me and Varun, in which Alia was not there. Alia liked the scene but her problem was with her not being in the scene. So she removed the scene from the film.”

In July 2022, the film, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania completed 8 years, and Varun Dhawan shared a heartmelting post from the same. Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture from one of the promotional events of his film, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. In the picture, he can be spotted alongside his co-stars, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Shukla and Sahil Vaid. Atop the picture, Varun wrote:
"8 years of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Some great memories with amazing people."

After a few seconds, Varun shared the same picture on his Twitter handle, along with a heart-melting post in which he addressed the time he had spent with Sidharth Shukla on the sets of the film. Also, he posted a picture with Sidharth from one of their press conferences. Along with these two pictures, Varun penned in his tweet:
"8 years of #humptysharmakidhulania a very special film but today I remember it for the time I got to spend with sid on the film. He was kind-hearted, protective and always passionate about work and friends."
Sidharth Shukla will always be missed by his fans!
