Varun Dhawan is one of the most adored actors of his generation. He made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's directorial, Student Of The Year, alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. Since then, he has been pumping out back-to-back super hit films such as Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Dishoom, ABCD 2 and his latest Bhediya. The Badlapur actor had a hilarious reaction when a reporter asked him about family planning at an event.
Varun Dhawan attended an event for Zee Cine Awards 2023 with his Student of the Year co-star, Alia Bhatt, on January 31, 2023, and the two sat down for a media interaction. Alia Bhatt gave birth to her baby girl, Raha, on November 6, 2022, with her hubby, Ranbir Kapoor. Owing to this, the Bhediya actor was asked if he had any family plans. The moment a reporter started with his question, Varun was quick to mock him, "Tereko kuch puchna hai controversial toh puch (laughs)." So the reporter continued and asked him:
"Alia ji mummy bann gayi, aapne mujhe bhi congratulations wish kiya, ab kab tak planning karoge?"

Alia laughed out loud at this question and was heard saying, "Ye apna planning yaha pe thodhi batayenge yaar." Varun had a very funny reply to this question as he said:
"Ye mummy bann gayi, tu papa bann gaya toh matlab ab sabko production shuru karna padega kya (laughs). Mai planning kab karunga? Main apne biwi se baat karta hu ki tumne aise bola hai ki planning shuru karo."

After Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, fans had started referring to Varun and Alia as Bollywood's next Rahul and Anjali. The duo debuted together in director Karan Johar's film, Student of the Year. Since then, they have starred in several films, such as Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya, Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya and Kalank. They share a lovely chemistry both on and off-screen and are often seen supporting each other. Fans really hope that they reunite for a film project soon.
School buddies Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal eventually developed feelings for each other at a music concert. A few guests, including only family and close friends, attended Varun Dhawan's and Natasha Dalal's wedding, which was held on January 24, 2021. Natasha is a fashion designer who likes to keep her life away from media glares; therefore, the couple kept their relationship a secret from the public for years.

On the professional front, Varun recently starred in Amir Kaushik's Bhediya which was one of the few box-office hits of 2022. The Jug Jug Jeeyo star is all set to star in the Hindi adaptation of the highly acclaimed web series, Citadel alongside actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu directed by the Russo brothers. He is also preparing for his upcoming film, Bawal directed by Nitesh Tiwari, also starring actress, Janhvi Kapoor.
For the unversed, Varun Dhawan celebrated his second anniversary with his wife, Natasha Dalal, on January 24, 2023.
