Raja Chaudhary was supposed to marry someone younger than Palak Tiwari
Shweta and Raja Chaudhary got married in 1998, and they welcomed their daughter, Palak, into their lives. In 2007, the couple separated, and the actress made some shocking claims about domestic abuse. By 2012, the couple was divorced. Raja got married again three years later, which also ended in divorce. But did you know that after his first divorce, he was supposed to marry someone who was even younger than his daughter, Palak?
Yes! In an interview with The Times of India back in 2022, Raja Chaudhary himself revealed the same. In the interview, Raja said that in 2015, he was supposed to get married to someone named Shilpi. Raja dated her; however, things didn't work out. Sharing the reason behind the same, Raja said that Shilpi changed her mind and kept reminding him about their age difference and telling him that Palak was older than her, which made him cut ties with her. In Raja's own words:
"I was with Shilpi for some time. I dated her. She suddenly turned around and started feeling that we had an age difference. She told me that my daughter was older than her. So I told Shilpi, 'Okay, then let's part ways'. I want to date someone, but I don't think anybody wants to date me. Perhaps, because my credit civil score is very low."
Raja Chaudhary's second marriage also ended in a divorce
After his tumultuous first marriage with Shweta Tiwari ended, Raja Chaudhary got married again, as reported. Filmi Beat reported that Raja met with a corporate HR professional, Shveta Sood, through mutual contact, following his divorce from Shweta. Raja and Shveta got engaged in 2014, and the couple tied the knot in 2015. Shveta kept her life away from the public eye, while Raja continued to hit the headlines with his past with Shweta Tiwari.
However, Raja reportedly confirmed his marriage to Shveta through a post on Facebook. Reportedly, Shveta maintained a reversed attitude to her stepdaughter, Palak, given that Raja was not allowed to meet his daughter until she turned 13. Raja's second marriage also ended in divorce. It was in 2022, during an interview with TOI, that Raja confirmed that his second ex-wife, Shveta, asked for alimony from him.
The reason for their divorce was not revealed back then; however, reports were rife that the actor's struggles with alcoholism strained their relationship, and they continued to face issues. On the other hand, while Shveta didn't accuse him of cheating, some other reports revealed that the actor was in a relationship with Shraddha Sharma during the time his relationship began with his then-second wife. Following their divorce, Shveta returned to Delhi, and she didn't really bring anything about her personal life into the public.
