The recent interview of Shweta Tiwari and her new accusations against her estranged husband, Abhinav Kohli had left the latter broken. Abhinav opened up on his side of the story and denied molesting her daughter, Palak Tiwari. Abhinav and Shweta had tied the knot in the year 2013, and the duo had welcomed a baby boy in 2016. However, within few years their marriage had hit a rough patch and they had parted on an ugly note.

In the year 2019, the rumours of trouble in Shweta's paradise had made it to the gossip section of every newspaper. And it was confirmed when Shweta had filed a domestic violence case against her second husband, Abhinav Kohli. According to the reports, she had filed a case at Samta Nagar Police Station in Mumbai and Abhinav was immediately taken into police custody for 2 days. He was accused of using inappropriate language with his step-daughter, Palak.

Since then, a lot has been said from Shweta and Abhinav's side in the media. While Shweta had kept accusing Abhinav in all her interviews, Abhinav had kept denying all the accusations. Recently, in an interview with ETimes, Abhinav talked about the new allegations made by Shweta. He shared how he had raised Shweta's daughter and for him, it was heartbreaking to get accused of molesting her.
Abhinav said, "I started keeping an account of everything and recording everything because of the section 354 (A) which was put against me by Shweta and her daughter Palak. I raised a daughter and she had the audacity to walk to the police station and spread lies about me that I have molested my own daughter. Will I not keep videographers? Don’t I know Shweta Tiwari is a liar? I don’t even complain about it when you let me meet my son after September 25. And now she’s accusing me of recording videos. Is she really trustworthy? I brought up her daughter as she was busy with work."
On June 12, 2020, Abhinav had shared a cryptic message for Shweta on his Instagram handle. He had posted a picture of his wife, Shweta and had claimed that his wife has never filed any domestic violence complaint against him. He had written, "I read a few news articles today it is not @shweta.tiwari who has made the complaint. She has not even one complaint of domestic violence against me nor a single complaint of me speaking badly to her daughter against me in the last 12 years that I know her. On the 11th August 2019, she did not complain and the complaint has been read out by DCP Sahab on the same day which is on the internet."
