TV actress, Shweta Tiwari often makes the news headlines for her professional as well as personal lives. She never misses a chance to delight her fans on social media with her stunning looks and impeccable style. However, Shweta's personal life hasn't been a bed of roses, as she got married twice and both her marriages were unsuccessful. Shweta and her second husband, Abhinav Kohli are still fighting a long battle due to their separation.
For the unversed, Abhinav Kohli and Shweta Tiwari got married in 2013 but got separated after the latter accused him of domestic violence. Recently, in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Abhinav made a shocking revelation and claimed that his estranged wife has not allowed him to meet their son, Reyansh for the past nine months. Talking about the same, the actor shared that he has again filed a petition in the Bombay High Court and made an appeal to let him meet his son.

He further made many allegations against Shweta and mentioned that she has been lying to the media and playing the victim card. For the unversed, Abhinav lives in the same society complex as Shweta but in a different tower, and the last time he met Reyansh was on Makar Sankranti in January 2023. In the same interview, he recalled the day and shared that while he was spending time with his son in the society complex, Shweta’s helper came and suddenly started taking Reyansh away forcefully. And when Abhinav tried to stop him, things got escalated.

Abhinav also added that Shweta was out of Mumbai that day, and after the incident, she stopped him from meeting his child. Adding that the Love Hostel actress showed some fake counsellor’s report claiming that Reyansh is scared of him, Abhinav mentioned that his estranged wife is making sure that their child stays away from him. He rubbished all the reports and shared that he isn’t even allowed to have a video call with Reyansh. He added:
“I wrote more than 100 emails to Shweta, pleading with her to meet my child but she did not budge. To meet my child, I was even ready to fall on her feet in front of everyone but she doesn’t agree.”

Abhinav even said that he and Shweta are still not legally divorced and added that he is okay with separation but wants the actress to agree to co-parent their son. He also mentioned that he has never discriminated against their children, Palak and Reyansh, and added:
“Palak may be my step-daughter but never discriminated, always fulfilled the duty of a father and will continue to do so in future. Although Palak and I are not on talking terms my feelings as a father for her have never diminished.”
