Shweta Tiwari's personal life is full of turmoils. After a failed marriage with Raja Chaudhary, Shweta had found love again in actor, Abhinav Kohli, however, history repeated itself and her second marriage too has hit the lows. The couple has been fighting for their son, Reyansh Kohli's custody and has been constantly putting allegations on one another.

It was on May 7, 2021, when Shweta Tiwari had left for Cape Town for the shoot of Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 and soon her estranged husband, Abhinav Kohli had accused her of abandoning their son, Reyansh. He had stated that she had kept their son in a hotel with a servant and had even called the child helpline number to seek help. Later, Shweta had clarified that her kids are staying with her family and are safe.
Abhinav Kohli had again accused Shweta Tiwari of abandoning their son, Reyansh as he had to live without his parents for 1.5 months. Now, in a video shared by her KKK 11 co-contestant, Arjun Bijlani, Shweta can be heard saying, "I really need to go back to my kids. I am missing them too much." In addition to her statement, Sana Makbul and Arjun can be heard talking about how much Shweta misses her kids and loves them as she is always glued to her phone.
For the unversed, taking to his IG handle, Abhinav Kohli had shared his Father’s Day post and had mentioned that just like last year, he could not meet his son, Reyansh this year too. He had shared that despite all the efforts, he could not meet his son as he was abandoned and was living without parents in the absence of Shweta. He had shared that this battle to meet his son will continue.
After Abhinav had accused Shweta for abandoning Reyansh, Shweta had quashed his claims in a conversation with the Bollywood Bubble. She had said, “I had informed Abhinav Kohli over a phone call that I am going to Cape Town and that Reyansh is safe with my family. My mother, my relatives, and Palak are there to take care of him. Plus, I will always be on video calls with Reyansh in between my shoot.”

After all the abandoning fiasco, on May 10, 2021, Shweta had shared a shocking CCTV footage, narrating her side of the story and revealing her estranged husband, Abhinav’s real face. In the video, Abhinav could be seen snatching their son, Reyansh from Shweta's arms. She had also shared a video, where their son could be seen hiding from Abhinav because of fear.
Later, Abhinav had hit back at Shweta in an IG LIVE session and had shown videos of how Shweta had tried to convince their son to go back to her home. In some videos, he had also shown how Reyansh is close to his father. Addressing the CCTV footage, Abhinav had shared videos of how Shweta had forcefully taken their son away when he wasn’t willing to go. He had also shared a few court orders in the LIVE session.
