When in love, everything looks rosy. For some lucky couples, the world carries the same tint throughout their relationship but for some, this colour wears out soon. When a relationship gets over, it leaves everyone heartbroken.
Only those who are really lucky are given a second chance. Such is the case with TV actors Shweta Tiwari and Abhinav Kohli. Witness how love healed everything in their life.
Shweta Tiwari's personal life has been a topsy-turvy affair and she has never tried to veil it. She got married to Raj Chaudhary when she was only 19. The met right after Shweta made her TV debut. Raja was just a struggling actor at that time. Shweta and Raja welcomed their daughter, Palak in 2000. Raja was an abusive husband and Shweta tried her best to mend the relationship. However, Raja was in no mood for that. Shweta couldn't take it anymore and separated from Raja.
Shweta left Raja in 2007 with their daughter. She signed up for her fifth serial, Jane Kya Baat Hui as she had to support her daughter. She met Abhinav Kohli on the sets of the show. He was one of the many characters and did not share a lot of screen space with the actress. Despite that, the two became good friends and were often seen spending quality time with each other. This did not bode well with Raja who was still on a lookout for causing more drama in Shweta's life.
In 2010, when Shweta signed up for Bigg Boss season 4, Raja got the opportunity that he had been looking for. While Shweta was locked up inside the Bigg Boss house, Raja took advantage of the situations and filed a case against Abhinav stating that he was having an affair with Shweta who was still Raja's legal wife. On one such occasion, he even slapped Abhinav.
As soon as Shweta came out of the house with the trophy, she took the matter into her own hands and took the legal route. Raja and Shweta's divorce was one of the ugliest ones. In all this, Abhinav proved to be the real king. When most of the people take the easier exit, Abhinav stood by Shweta like a rock and helped her with the legal battle.
On her divorce, Shweta said:
"I made him two offers, either take a house, which would be co-owned by our daughter Palak, or to take the sole ownership rights of a house, and stay away from Palak; he immediately lapped up the latter one."
For Abhinav and Shweta, the road to happiness was a rather tough one but finally, they have got their happily ever after. On 13th July 2013, Shweta and Abhinav tied the knot in Mumbai. Though the wedding was low-key, it was grand in every other way. Since Shweta's first wedding was very small, she had an extravagant one the second time. Sangeet was followed by a royal wedding at a five-star in Mumbai and a reception.
Shweta wore a beautiful lehenga in red and green for the D-day and was complemented by Abhinav in his red turban. Shweta's daughter was a big part of this Punjabi affair.
Shweta and Abhinav might have had a tough road but life has become kind to them. They are enjoying every moment of life. They even had a beautiful baby shoot before they welcomed their son, Reyaansh in November 2016. Abhinav adores Palak as his own and she has accepted him as her father.
Abhinav and Shweta are busy these days taking care of their children and excelling in their careers. The story is full of love, hope, faith and strength. We hope that they are greeted by happiness on their journey ahead.
