Shweta Bachchan Nanda just proved that the only important thing is to rhyme with your sibling if you wish to celebrate Siblings Day and posted a picture with brother, Abhishek Bachchan with an uncanny resemblance.
Shweta Bachchan Nanda took to her Instagram handle to post an adorable monochrome photograph from her and brother, Abhishek's childhood days. In the picture, the brother-sister duo can be seen sitting and happily posing for the camera with the biggest smile. She captioned the post as "Partner in rhyme and crime, for a lifetime #siblingsday.” Their resemblance is uncanny in the picture as the two looks no less than twins. Take a look:
Abhishekh and Shweta share a great bond and their nok-jhok is as similar to any other siblings. On April 9, 2020, Jaya Bachchan had turned 72 and her kids, Abhishek Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda had expressed their love for their ‘maa’. Shweta Bachchan Nanda went down the memory lane and had posted a throwback picture from their childhood days. Shweta had captioned the picture as “I carry your heart with me (I carry it in my heart) I am never without it (anywhere I go you go ...) -happy birthday Mama; I love U (with a little help from e e Cummings).” What caught everyone’s attention was Shweta’s daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda’s comments where she had teased her mom and had commented on the post, “You are daydreaming here also” followed by a heart emoji. On March 17, 2020, Shweta Bachchan Nanda rang in her 46th birthday, and brother, Abhishek Bachchan did not miss the chance to tease his ‘Shwet di’. He shared a sepia family photograph where Jaya Bachchan could be seen holding him and Shweta sitting on Amitabh Bachchan’s lap, while the family posed for the camera, Abhishek had written, “Happy Birthday Shwetdi! Have the best year. Evidence that you've been trying to be a fashionista since childhood... The dress!!! Wow!!! Love you. @shwetabachchan.”
On August 15, 2019, Abhishek had taken to his Instagram handle to wish his ‘di’ on the occasion of Rakhsha Bandhan. He brought his childhood back to wish his dear sister, Shweta. Posting a picture in which they are cuddled in their father’s arms, and the little one tries to take his big sister’s doll, Abhishek had captioned it, “Been picking on her since 1976! Happy Rakhi @shwetabachchan Love you. #brothersandsisters.” To which, Shweta had replied, “Pudding. love you G.
