As soon as the picture was uploaded, Shubman Gill’s die-hard fans wasted no time in stalking his alleged ladylove, SaraTendulkar’s Instagram, and they did find a picture of her sitting in the same restaurant. Not only this, netizens were quick to point out that the couple sitting on the left side in the background in both pictures is the same. A Twitter user even decoded the entire situation as he tweeted:
"Date - 5 July 2021 (both pictures are from England. You can check Sara's Insta post from 5 July 2021) India was preparing for Eng Test series after losing 2021 WTC final and Gill was backup opener of Kl Rahul back then in England."
The netizens bombarded Sara Tendulkar’s post dated July 5, 2021, in which she was spotted sitting in the same London restaurant, which was clearly visible in Shubman Gill’s post. Most of the people were convinced that it was the cricketer’s unique way of confirming that he is still dating Sara. While one user wrote, "If this doesn't prove that he's still dating Sara Tendulkar, nothing else does. Always supporting you guys." Another netizen commented, "Shubman ko pata hain ki Valentine pe kaisey reveal kiya jata hain."
