Shriya Saran has made her mark in South Indian, Bollywood and American cinema, proving the mettle of her acting. It was in October 2021, when Shriya had stunned everyone by announcing the birth of her daughter, Radha. She has been sharing pictures and videos with her daughter, tactfully, hiding her face. However, this time, she ended up giving a clear glimpse of her daughter’s face.
Shriya Saran had surprised her fans on October 11, 2021, after announcing the news of welcoming a baby girl back in 2020 with her husband, Andrei Koscheev. Sharing a cute video, Shriya had written:
"Hello people, we had a crazy but the most beautiful 2020 quarantine. While the whole world was going through a beautiful turmoil, our world changed forever…. To a world full of adventures, excitement and learning. We are blessed to have an Angel in our life. We are so grateful to god!"

As the nation celebrated Diwali week, attending various parties and meeting their loved ones, Shriya Saran’s Diwali was also similar. Taking to her IG stories, Shriya shared a picture with her friends from one of her Diwali parties, holding her daughter, Radha in her arms. While Shriya placed an ‘I Love You’ sticker atop her daughter’s face, as it was blinking, it gave a glimpse of Radha’s face clearly. Check out the screenshot below:
Shriya Saran had managed to hide her pregnancy and daughter’s birth for almost a year. In an interview with ETimes, Shriya had revealed how she had managed to keep it all a secret. She had said:
“I just wanted to be healthy and enjoy the process. I wanted to concentrate on this beautiful journey and experience every moment of it the way it is meant to be. I didn’t want any scrutiny or anyone telling me how I should look or behave.”

Shriya had also shared that she wanted her pregnancy to be about her and her baby. Sharing that she did not want to worry about having people around her, looked at her constantly, Shriya had added:
“The whole time when I was pregnant and during delivery, it was my time with the child and I wanted to keep it to myself. I wanted to be able to go for a walk without having to worry about people constantly looking at me. It was important for me to keep it to myself and not share the news till I was ready. Now that I’m back and ready to get back to work, I feel like I’m ready to share this wonderful news with the rest of the world.”
In the same interview, Shriya Saran had revealed the unique name she had picked for her firstborn. The newbie mother had mentioned that she had selected the name 'Radha' for her daughter. Shriya had also shared that her husband, Andrei Koscheev loves their daughter’s name. She had added:
"We have named her Radha. My husband Andrei loves the name."
