Yes, singer, Shreya Ghoshal is soon going to be a mother! After 6 years of marriage, Shreya and her hubby, Shiladitya are expecting their first child together. Taking to her IG handle, Shreya had posted a picture, where she could be seen wearing a blue dress, holding her baby bump and looking at it with utmost love. Sharing the picture, she had shared that she is excited to start this new chapter in her life. She had written, “Baby #Shreyaditya is on its way! @shiladitya and me are thrilled to share this news with you all. Need all your love and blessings as we prepare ourselves for this new chapter in our lives.”
Now, in an interview with ETimes, Shreya shared if the couple has decided any name for their soon-to-be-born child yet. She said, “We are considering many options and are asking family and friends for suggestions. I think I will now open it to my fans as well. They will surely come up with the most meaningful and unique names.” She also revealed whether they have prepared a nursery for their soon-to-be-born yet and said, “I kept thinking that there is a lot of time, but I got busy with my work during this pregnancy, and now, I can’t believe how time has flown by. I have to start preparing soon.” Shreya also revealed that she plans to do her child’s nursery on her own and said, “I love doing things myself, and for this, I would not have it any other way.”
Shreya also talked about her pregnancy experience and how her husband, Shiladitya is taking care of her. She said, “I am absolutely over the moon! We are grateful to the almighty for blessing us. I have always heard from friends and family members what a miraculous thing it is to feel a life growing within you, and now I am getting to experience it. Motherhood is among the most precious gifts a woman can cherish.” She further added, “Shiladitya has been taking care of my health, mood swings and cravings. We wanted to plan this for a long time, but it's only now that we finally got a break from our crazy work schedules to give it the right amount of focus and love. Sharing how her parents are pampering her and her pet, Sherlocks’ reaction to her pregnancy, she said, “My mom and dad are pampering me a lot. All my bizarre food cravings at odd hours are lovingly taken care of by them. They are so excited about becoming grandparents. Soumyadeep, my brother with whom I released a song recently, has been so caring. My in-laws, too, are very loving and supportive. My pet, Sherlock, seems to be very curious about all that is happening around him. He can probably sense he is getting a sibling soon.”
For the unversed, Shreya and her husband, Shiladitya have known each other from a young age. The duo had fallen in love with each other when they were in school and despite their professional commitments, they kept their love alive. On February 5, 2015, Shreya had married the man of her dreams, Shiladitya in a Bengali ceremony and in the presence of her close family and friends.
