Shreya Ghoshal is one soulful singer, whose voice can bring us closer to the emotions that we often try to suppress. Shreya’s life has been like a fairytale as she had married her childhood sweetheart and after six years of married life, the two are ready to welcome their first child. Shreya and her husband, Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya have known each other from a young age. It was on March 4, 2021, when Shreya had announced her pregnancy on her IG handle. Taking to her IG handle, Shreya had posted a picture, where she could be seen wearing a blue dress, holding her baby bump and looking at it with utmost love. Sharing the picture, she had shared that she is excited to start this new chapter in her life. She had written, “Baby #Shreyaditya is on its way! @shiladitya and me are thrilled to share this news with you all. Need all your love and blessings as we prepare ourselves for this new chapter in our lives.”
There is no doubt that Shreya Ghoshal is a talented singer, who has given us melodious songs like Mohe Rang Do Laal, Sunn Raha Hai Na Tu, Ghar More Pardesiya and many more. The singer has been often acknowledged for her contribution to the Indian music industry and now, she has bagged two more awards. She received ‘Female Vocalist Of The Decade’ (Mohe Rang Do Laal) and ‘Listener’s Choice Album Of The Decade’ (Aashiqui 2) at the Mirchi Music Awards. Taking to her IG handle, she shared a picture, thanking everyone for the awards and it was her baby bump that we could not keep our eyes off. On March 23, 2021, Shreya Ghoshal’s mother, Sarmistha Ghoshal had turned 60 and the loving daughter had taken to her IG handle and had shared an adorable wish for her. Sharing pictures from the celebrations, Shreya had written, “It’s Ma’s 60th birthday! Wow! She doesn’t look na. Meri pyaari Ma be always healthy & happy so I can continue to get pampered by you and I can pamper you back! And.... you are soon gonna be a grandma, how exciting!!!!” In the pictures, Shreya had looked adorable as she had flaunted her pregnancy glow and her baby bump was unmissable.

In an interview with ETimes, Shreya had talked about her pregnancy and how her husband, Shiladitya has been taking care of her. She had said, “I am absolutely over the moon! We are grateful to the almighty for blessing us. I have always heard from friends and family members what a miraculous thing it is to feel a life growing within you, and now I am getting to experience it. Motherhood is among the most precious gifts a woman can cherish.” She had further added, “Shiladitya has been taking care of my health, mood swings and cravings. We wanted to plan this for a long time, but it's only now that we finally got a break from our crazy work schedules to give it the right amount of focus and love. We are nervous and excited at the same time. It’s all so new to us.”
