Shrashti Maheshwari and her Bangalore-based tech engineer husband, Karan Vaidya are on cloud nine as they embraced parenthood for the first time in their lives. For the unversed, Shrashti rose to immense popularity with her stint in the popular show, Bigg Boss season 7 and has been part of many TV serials, including Pandya Store, Divya Drishti, Raabta, Thaapki Pyaar Ki, etc. She tied the knot with Karan on June 19, 2022, in his hometown, Jaipur. And now the couple became proud parents to their princess.
As per a report in the TOI, Shrashti Maheshwari and her husband, Karan Vaidya welcomed their princess into their world on June 5, 2023, at a suburban hospital. Now, in a conversation with the media portal, the actress opened up about the surreal feeling of embracing motherhood for the first time. She revealed it was a normal delivery. However, when she first saw her princess, she had tears of happiness. The actress also revealed that her entire world has changed and said:
"It was a normal delivery and when I finally saw my baby, I had tears in my eyes. I had many thoughts coming to mind, right from the time I was pregnant to now holding her. Our entire world has changed now and Karan and I are extremely happy to be blessed with this bundle of joy."

In the same conversation, Shrashti revealed the happiness she got when she held her daughter in her arms. She also mentioned how the little one reminds her of her mother and sister. Elaborating more on it, Shrashti added:
"Motherhood is a beautiful feeling. When I hold my baby, it reminds me of my young mom holding me and my sister. I am happy and blessed. The last few months have been filled with excitement, anxiety, fatigue and joy."
Further, Shrashti shared that her husband, Karan is a hands-on father. Thus, he helps her a lot in the new phase of her life. Along with this, her parents and in-laws are also coming to help the actress. For the unversed, as per reports, Shrashti had earlier planned to go to her hometown in Bareilly for her delivery. However, later she stayed back in Mumbai for her delivery due to reasons best known to her. She revealed:
"My parents and the rest of my family decided to come to Mumbai and help us. Karan's parents also flew from Jaipur to Mumbai. Karan is a hands-on father. It feels good to watch him hold the baby and be around her. Both of us are looking forward to this new phase in our lives."

It was on January 6, 2022, when Shrashti took to her IG handle and posted a cute video to announce her pregnancy. The video featured her hubby, Karan helping her tie her shoelaces and pampering her. Alongside the video, she revealed that the duo are expecting their first child. Without writing anything in the caption, she posted two hashtags, which can be read as “#complete #soontobeparents.”
