According to several reports, Shraddha Kapoor and Rahul Mody met on the sets of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. While she was the film's lead actress, Rahul wrote its script. They became friends while working on the sets and reportedly started dating after they developed feelings for each other.

As per IMDb, he has worked as a writer in a series of films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. Not only this, he also worked as an associate director in the film, Akaash Vani. Talking about his personal life, Rahul was born and brought up in Mumbai into a business family.
