In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Bollywood actress, Shraddha Kapoor's father and veteran actor, Shakti Kapoor revealed the way his daughter is going to celebrate her 34th birthday. The doting father stated that their whole family is in the Maldives at the moment to be a part of Shraddha's cousin, Priyaank Sharma's wedding celebrations. He said, "This year, Shraddha's birthday celebration will be huge as all of us including the extended family will be in the Maldives. Wedding and birthday will be big time, sab saath mein hai, toh maza aayega." Shakti Kapoor also talked about Shraddha's marriage plans and revealed that he wants his kids to settle down in life. Shakti ji said, "As a father, I want my children to settle down in life. But ab kab karenge.. let's see. Today, times have changed, and people settle late in life, unlike our times when people got married at 20. I guess, each to himself. I have no complaints."
Shakti ji also revealed the birthday gift his daughter has asked for this year, and it'll melt your hearts in split seconds. The elated father said that Shraddha wants him to quit smoking, and he is committed and excited to give her this gift. Isn't this sweet? He added, "She is generous and an animal lover. I am so happy that even today, when she is so successful, she listens to me, consults me on all major decisions in life. She has given me that respect." Shakti ji also called Shraddha a 'God's gift to him' and recalled the time when she had signed her first film, Teen Patti (2010). The proud daddy said, "I am blessed. She is God's gift to me, an angel, a golden child. I remember, in school, she would perform on stage, and I felt she could become an actor, but as she was an intelligent student, she went to study in the US. I never thought she would be an actor. But achanak, when I returned from shoot one fine day, I heard she had signed Teen Patti."
