Showik Chakraborty Says Sushant Singh Rajput's Manager Procured Drugs For Him Not Rhea Chakraborty

In the death mystery of late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's case, NCB is investigating the drug angle with full force and is ruling the headlines of all media houses at the moment. As for now, three prominent federal agencies, the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation),  the NCB (National Narcotics Bureau) and the ED (Enforcement Directorate) are probing various angles surrounding his death. However, we have already witnessed a few arrests under the charges of drug consumption and dealing. While on one side, Rhea Chakraborty has been accused of procuring drugs for his late beau, Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress' brother, Showik Chakraborty has come forward in support of his sister and has accused Sushant's manager, Samuel Miranda, for being the main man behind Sushant's drug case. According to a report in India Today, Bollywood actress, Rhea Chakraborty's brother revealed in his statement to NCB that it was Sushant Singh Rajput's manager, Samuel Miranda, who used to buy drugs for the late actor. The copy of Showik's statement is procured by India Today, and it can be read as "Through WhatsApp chat, my sister told me that Sushant is taking marijuana at least four-five times a day. Based on this, I told her that I would arrange five grams of bud (curated marijuana)… Then I contacted Abdel Basit Parihar, a friend of mine, to source bud and shared the rates of bud with Rhea and Samuel Miranda, as he used to be the house manager of Sushant then."

Going further in his statement, Showik also revealed that Samuel Miranda had contacted him on multiple occasions for arranging some drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput. His statement reads "Between 15.04.2020 and 17.04.2020, Sushant called me and conveyed me that his stock of bud and weed were about to over and the same was conveyed to me by Samuel Miranda. When Samuel Miranda initially requested me to arrange for weed or bud for Sushant, I said that I don't have many contacts to arrange bud and weed frequently. However, on 17.04.2020 Samuel again contacted me over WhatsApp chat and conveyed that his old suppliers like Karamjjeet (KJ) have run dry of drugs."

As per the latest reports coming in, a magistrate court has rejected Showik's sister, Rhea Chakraborty's bail plea, and she has been sent to judicial custody till September 22. Well, Rhea is the 10th person to be arrested along with her brother, Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda (Sushant's manager), Deepesh Sawant (Sushant's former cook) and several other alleged drug peddlers. When Showik was arrested by the NCB, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti had reacted on his arrest, and had written on her Twitter handle, "Thank you God Keep guiding all of us in the direction of TRUTH! #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput #GreatStartNCB #Warriors4SRR #Flag4SSR." Also, on August 4, 2020, NCB had conducted a raid on Rhea's residence, in response to which, Shweta had put out a jubilant tweet which could be read as "Good going NCB...
