After tying the knot for the third time, Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik recently celebrated his first Eid with his wife, Sana Javed. For those who don’t know, the two secretly got married in an intimate ceremony in January 2024 and announced the same via a collaborative post on Instagram. Shoaib and Sana’s hush-hush marriage angered people primarily because the two never publicly announced their separation from their respective previous spouses.

On the occasion of Eid, the celebrity couple posted a series of posts on social media to commemorate a few special moments. In the pictures, Sana was seen decked up in an embroidered saree, while Shoaib complimented his wife in an all-black Pathani suit. In the monochromatic post, the two posed mushily for the lens, wherein they embraced one another while looking lost in each other’s eyes. Sana and Shoaib also wished their followers “Eid Mubarak”. This post was followed by additional colour photos of the couple wearing the same attire.

Netizens criticise Shoaib Malik as he skips celebrating Eid with his son, Izhaan 

As soon as the couple dropped these love-filled moments of themselves on social media, people on the internet took to the comment sections and reacted to it. A segment of the online community asked Shoaib about his son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, and criticised him for sharing romantic pictures. One user said, “Did u try spending Eid with your son? Or have you disowned him as well??” Another one penned, “I don’t know but he didn’t post this kind of picture with his first wife and what kind of impact his son get from him after seeing these pictures?” A third user mentioned, “Selfish aadmi apna bccha eid pr apne pas nhi or mehboba ke chkkar me pgla gya he.”

Sania Mirza celebrates Eid with her son, Izhaan and her family in Hyderabad

Meanwhile, Sania Mirza, along with her son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, celebrated Eid al-Fitr with her family in Hyderabad. The Indian tennis player took to her Instagram account on April 11, 2024, and shared some beautiful snaps with her family on the auspicious occasion. The Mirza family, including Sania, her son, Izhaan, Anam Mirza and her husband, Mohammed Asaduddin and their daughter, Dua, and parents, Imran Mirza and Nasima Mirza, posed as one big happy family for the occasion. Sania captioned her post as:

“Eid Mubarak from us.”

Moreover, Sania posted a picture with her son, Izhaan as well on Eid. In the picture, the former tennis player was seen wearing a dress from Pakistani designer, Nomi Ansari's Eid 2024 collection. Sania’s attire comprised a light grey silk kurta adorned with a heavily embroidered neckline, printed silk pants, and a matching printed organza dupatta. Her son, on the other hand, wore a white kurta pyjama for the occasion. The mother-son duo was all smiles as they posed for the lens, and received much praise from the people on the internet. Sania captioned the post as:

“My whole (heart emoji).”
