Shoaib Malik On His Fourth Marriage, Breaks Silence On Divorce With Sania Mirza, '..I Got Remarried'

Former Pakistan cricketer, Shoaib Malik, finally reacted to the buzz that has been circulating in Pakistan and India that he is all set to get married for the fourth time. Shoaib Malik is a notable personality in the world of cricket due to his illustrious career as a former Pakistani cricketer. Recently, he was linked with Vaneeza Sattar, and many wondered if he was all set for his fourth marriage. Now, Shoaib Malik finally reacted to the buzz. 

Shoaib Malik quashed all the claims about his fourth marriage

After days of silence, Shoaib Malik chose to address the buzz surrounding his fourth marriage. In a statement, Shoaib slammed the social media users for taking his silence for granted. He directly addressed unverified stories about his personal life that are circulating without his permission. He started his note by talking about his divorce from Sania Mirza, and stated that in 2023, his first marriage ended. He wrote:

"It was early 2023 when my first marriage ended. With mutual consent, it was decided that we will co-parent our child. It was only after this that I got remarried. I've always sought to keep my private life private, out of respect for my family. However, my silence seems to have been taken for granted."

It was with mutual consent that Sania and Shoaib have decided to co-parent their son. And after this, he got married to Sana Javed. He added that he preferred keeping his personal life private and his family out of it, but his silence was taken for granted. He also highlighted that since his second marriage, people have written unverified stories. Shoaib also stated that his wife was targeted for the things she was never involved in.

Shoaib also shared that this is the need of the hour to address the claims, as his son has reached a stage where he understands all of it. He added that these accusations and fabricated stories are causing distress to people close to him. He also shared that it has reached a point where they are invading his personal space and trying to damage his reputation. Shoaib also stated that life is beyond likes and views, and he also has a family, just like everyone else. He also urged people to take this message positively and to stop joking about his personal life. He wrote:

"I feel this has reached a point where it must be addressed, as my son is now at an age where he'll be reading these false and fabricated stories, spread for views for mere pennies of earnings. These lame accusations are causing distress to those who I care about."

Sania Mirza has been through a difficult few years due to a rough patch in her personal life. The former tennis player left her country and moved to Dubai after falling in love with Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik and marrying him. However, their love story came to a sad end when Shoaib Malik posted photos from his third marriage with Sana Javed. After this, Sania's father revealed how it was his daughter who had taken Khula (a term used in Islam when a woman initiates a divorce). 

Sania and her family never mentioned about the separation. However, after Shoaib announced his wedding to Sana Javed, the Mirza family spoke publicly for the first time about the ex-couple's separation. On January 21, 2024, Sania's sister, Anam Mirza, took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture note on her behalf. She conveyed how Sania kept her personal life away from the media glare. She added that she separated from Shoaib a few months ago, and Sania wishes him well on his journey. Anam also said that it is a sensitive period of her life and requested privacy from fans.
