Shoaib Ibrahim is one of the famous faces of the television industry. The actor never skips a chance to win the hearts of his fans with his acting talents and charming personality. Talking about his personal life, Shoaib got married to the love of his life, Dipika Kakar in 2018, and in 2023, they stepped into parenthood with their son, Ruhaan. In a recent conversation, Shoaib revealed how his then-girlfriend, Dipika's father had reacted to their relationship.
Recently, Shoaib Ibrahim sat for an interview with Mr. Faisu on his podcast, wherein he talked about his relationship with Dipika Kakar. The actor mentioned that he and Dipika first met on the sets of their show, Sasural Simar Ka, wherein they both played the lead roles. Shoaib mentioned that their love story began after the show was over. Talking more about the same, the actor revealed he and Dipika entered into an official relationship in 2015-2016, and they tied the knot in 2018.

Mr Faisu asked him whether he had faced any complications in terms of getting married to Dipika Kakar or if there had been any objections from their respective families. Shoaib revealed that they had no problems faced by their respective families, as everyone was aware of it. The actor shared that when he first time talked about Dipika in front of his parents, his mom told him that she was able to see love in her son's eyes.
Talking about Dipika's family, Shoaib revealed that there were no such objections and the actress' family as well. Recalling Dipika's father's reaction to the same, Shoaib mentioned that he had told them that they have to spend the rest of their lives together, so it's up to them as their happiness matters only. Dipika's father had said:
"Tum bolo, joh bolo, hum ready hain. Khushi tum logon ki hai. Tum log ko jeena hai, zindagi bitani hai sath mein."
While being on Jhalak Dikhlla Jaa 11, we have seen Dipika often bringing Ruhaan to the sets to let him meet his father, Shoaib. Talking about the same, in an interview with ETimes, Shoaib revealed that the little one is the apple of their eyes, and he often used to miss Ruhaan, so whenever Dipika could understand the same, she used to bring the little one to him. In one of his vlogs, Shoaib also revealed what it felt like when Ruhaan addressed him as abba for the first time. The actor mentioned that it was a surreal experience and he had never felt the same.

Earlier, rumours were rife that Dipika Kakar was pregnant for the second time. The speculation ignited when Shoaib, in one of his vlogs, talked about how Ruhaan was not keeping well with his health. After consulting doctors, he and Dipika were relieved, and if they ever became parents for the second time, it would be a bit easy. However, the duo didn't pay any attention to the rumours, and later, Shoiab debunked all of it in one of his vlogs.
