Speaking specifically about Akash Ambani in here, the handsome entrepreneur got married to his childhood sweetheart, Shloka Mehta on March 09, 2019, in a big fat Gujju wedding. The newbie Ambani bahu, Shloka Mehta had looked beyond gorgeous in a Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla ensemble. Shloka had maintained the stereotypical red and golden bridal colour in her lehenga and teamed up her wedding ensemble with a heavy kundan necklace, maatha patti, nath and traditional earrings. And now we came across a beautiful picture of Shloka Mehta, wherein she is seen acing the look of merging summer with traditional. Her frilled, beige-coloured lehenga had beautiful pink roses drawn all over it. At their engagement, the multi-talented Nita Ambani had turned poetess for her son and then soon-to-be daughter-in-law and had written a heartfelt poem in ode to the newly-engaged Ambani couple, Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta. The poem could be read as, “They went to Kindergarten to learn ABC, Not knowing — que sera sera — What their future would be…Gummy bears and jujubes, Sparkle pops and jelly beans… Sweetened their lives, From childhood through teens! In an interview to an online portal, Shloka Mehta had spoken about keeping pace with her relationship with Akash Amabni, despite their hectic schedules. She was quoted as saying, “Despite years and busy schedules, we have always found ways to stay connected. Akash is incredibly grounded, and we share a bond based on meaning and memories. We don't just get along - we also support each other's hopes and aspirations and are determined to build a sense of purpose into our lives together. We are lucky to have a love that began with being best friends and luckier still to have such supportive families”. While Akash Ambani had revealed, “I am truly happy that our friendship has blossomed into love and Shloka and I are getting married, she is a truly special and extremely kind-hearted person”. In another interview with a leading media portal, Nita Ambani, post-Akash and Shloka’s proposal had said, “I have known Shloka since she was four and we are all delighted to welcome her to our home and our hearts”. A source close to the family had also revealed, “Shloka is a very charming girl, extremely cultured and it’s difficult to say which of the two families is lucky with this upcoming marriage”.
