Reel to a real-life couple, Shivangi and Mohsin are one of our favourite couples, both, on-screen and off-screen. However, rumours were abuzz lately about ‘lover’s tiff’ between them and all is not well between the two. As per SpotboyE reports, a source was quoted as saying, “There is some sort of disconnect between Shivangi and Mohsin, they are not as warm with each other, as they used to be. It seems like some tension is simmering between the two.”
While Shivangi and Mohsin remained tight-lipped about their break up speculations, it did not take a minute for the rumours mills to go wild with their conjectures. However, without giving any clarifications to such rumours, Shivangi and Mohsin thwarted the reports with their appearance at the Gold Awards 2018. On June 20, 2018, Shivangi and Mohsin won the 'Best-Jodi' award for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai at the Gold Awards 2018.
While Shivangi looked ravishing in a black crop top and thigh-high slit skirt, Mohsin looked dapper in a white shirt and pants which he teamed with the grey jacket. Mohsin shared a picture with Shivangi on his Instagram, and captioned it, “There could'nt have been a bigger and more beautiful celebration!! Celebrating Togetherness Love Laughter..silly jokes.. intense scenes.. romantic songs.. 2 years. 600 Episodes and Truckload of memories..@Gold awards!!!”.
Shivangi too took her Instagram to share her picture with Mohsin posing with the awards in their hands, and captioned it, “Winning smiles..BEST JODI..Thankyou #goldawards @vikaaskalantri for making it memorable for us... #11thGoldAwards -@subtlesleeves”. In an earlier interview, Mohsin talked about his relationship with Shivangi and the bond they share, and was quoted as saying, “I am grateful that Shivangi and I got to work together. People accepted Kartik and Naira instantly and loved them. We have always enjoyed working together. We often get messages on all social media platforms and I try to reply to as many as possible”.
Last year, Mohsin and Shivangi, who play Karthik and Naira on-screen (their fans affectionately call them Kaira) accepted that they were in a relationship and then stated, “Several theories have been doing the rounds, including our link-up, but we didn't allow it to affect our friendship or work. In fact, there was nothing to talk about initially, since we were just friends. Our friendship graduated to love only recently; it's just been a month-and-a-half. We rang in the New Year with my family. Funnily, we haven't gone out on an official date yet, owing to our erratic schedule.”
About what he likes the most about Shivangi, Mohsin retorted, “I don't know what made me fall for her. I guess it's her innocence. We are still exploring each other. On October 28, 2017, i.e. Mohsin’s 26th birthday Shivangi posted an adorable picture of them with a really sweet message for her special friend. She wrote, “There's nothing more special than a super special friend like you. Hope your birthday is especially special like you. May the sweetest of your sweet dreams come true on the sweetest day of the year...your birthday! Happy birthday to the sweetest, sweetilicious sweetie of a sweetheart.
