Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty Kundra's husband, Raj Kundra, was arrested by the Mumbai Police on July 19, 2021, for his alleged involvement in producing pornography content and publishing them on his app. Along with Raj, 11 other people are in police custody. However, he is said to be the key conspirator.
From police raiding their house to the reports of Raj Kundra not cooperating with the investigating team, the case has been hitting the headlines every now and then. Now, Raj's sister-in-law, Shamita Shetty, dropped a cryptic note on her social media handle.

On July 29, 2021, Shamita Shetty took to her Instagram handle and shared a stunning picture of herself, donning a lovely black top. However, it was her cryptic note in the caption that caught our attention. Shamita has directed her entire note towards a 'You', and it's quite obvious that, either it is for his sister, Shilpa Shetty or brother-in-law, Raj Kundra, who are going through an extremely rough patch. Her note can be read as "Sometimes the strength within you is not a big fiery flame for all to see.. it is just a tiny spark that whispers ever so softy.. "You got this .. keep going ".You can't control how other people receive your energy."
Going further in her note, Shamita Shetty also talked about fighting against the odds till the end, keeping your integrity intact. Her note continued, "Anything you say or do gets filtered through the lens of whatever personal issues they are going through at that moment .. which is not about you. Just keep doing your thing with as much integrity and love as possible."

After Raj Kundra's arrest, his wife, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, had almost gone underground. While some had shown sympathy for Shilpa and her family, others had started to drag her into the case, accusing the actress of her role in her husband's business. However, in a press conference, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), Milind Bharambe, had denied finding any involvement of Shilpa in the case.
While some celebs like Poonam Pandey, Sagarika Shona, Sherlyn Chopra have accused Raj Kundra, Gehana Vasisth, and Rakhi Sawant have supported him. Shortly after Raj Kundra's arrest, in a conversation with the Navbharat Times, Gehana Vasisth had shared that Raj had plans to launch his sister-in-law, Shamita Shetty, in a project of his new app.
Gehana Vasisth had said, "Just a few days before I got arrested, I went to Raj's office. There I got to know that he is planning to launch an app called Bollyfame. They were planning to showcase reality shows, chat shows, music videos and non-bold films on the app. We also discussed a few scripts and thought about casting Shamita Shetty in one script, Sai Tamhankar and a few other actors."
Raj Kundra has been booked under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays).
