Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty is an inspiration to millions. The mindful yogi and hands-on mother knows how to balance her personal life and professional commitments perfectly. Almost after three years after her wedding to businessman, Raj Kundra, Shilpa had embraced motherhood and had welcomed their first child, Viaan Raj Kundra on May 21, 2012. Eight years later, Viaan had become a big brother when Shilpa and Raj had welcomed their second child, Samisha via surrogacy.
Shilpa shares a very warm bond with both her kids and we have often seen the stunning actress taking out time from her busy schedule to spend time with her babies. In a recent interview, the star mommy, who has begun her second innings in movies after a sabbatical revealed why she signed Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film and the reason will simply melt your heart.

In an interview with PTI, Shilpa Shetty Kundra revealed the reason behind taking up Rohit Shetty’s upcoming action film, Indian Police Force and said that it was her son, Viaan Raj Kundra, who had convinced her. Talking about the same, she said:
"I told my son that Rohit Shetty has offered me a role and he jumped and he said, 'mumma you have to do it for me'. When I saw the excitement on his face, I was so happy. He is such a big fan of Rohit. I always tell Rohit this is something I did for him (my son).”
Shilpa had gone through the toughest phases of her life in 2021, after her husband, Raj Kundra's arrest. For the unversed, Raj was arrested in July by the Mumbai Police for his alleged involvement in pornography. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Shilpa had talked about the difficult time for her family and how she had overcome it. Stating how even during the whole fiasco, her kids, Viaan and Samisha were the sole purpose of her life. In her words:
"I have always believed that in life, you have to find a purpose. Even in the chaos, my purpose was my children and will always be them. Stepping out in difficult times, with a brave front, to go back to work was only to show my kids, [especially my son] because he is at an age where he understands things."

A few days after Raj Kundra's arrest, Shilpa Shetty Kundra was spotted on the sets, fulfilling her work commitments. The actress had got trolled mercilessly for the same, but she did not let anything hamper her professional commitments. Revealing that she had wanted to set an example, especially for her son, Viaan, Shilpa had continued in the same interview:
"I wanted to show Viaan that even in difficult circumstances, you have to have work ethics, and have to rise like a phoenix. He has learnt through me, and I hope I am able to give them the values our parents inculcated in us. For me to get out there and start working was teaching my son through practice. You are never prepared for hardships in life. They suddenly hit you, but they make you stronger. I didn’t know I was strong, but it’s a good feeling to know I can combat anything now."
