However, this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the naach, gaana and dhol will not be there due to the social distancing orders. The coronavirus outbreak in the world has forced us to turn our big celebrations into an intimate one, but why fear when 'Bappa' is here. Just like all of us, Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty Kundra is all set to bring Bappa home for her daughter, Samisha Shetty Kundra's first Ganesh Chaturthi. Every year, Shilpa welcomes her Gannu ji with lots of love and enthusiasm. Her celebrations are the one on which everyone keeps an eye. While the pandemic has ruined many festival plans, we are sure Shilpa is going to make this Ganesh Chaturthi special for her little angel, Samisha.
On August 20, 2020, we spotted Shilpa bringing Ganpati Bappa's idol at home. In the pictures that have gone viral on the internet, we can see the actress dressed in a pink traditional ensemble. Last year, Shilpa's Ganesh Chaturthi celebration was an inspiration for all. The actress had posted pictures from her celebrations, wherein the entire family twinned in yellow ensembles. Alongside the picture, the actress had written, "And... My GANNU RAJA is back. Our 10th year! The remover of obstacles and the Lord of success.. May He bestow us all with His blessings this Ganesh Chaturthi. Earlier, in an interview with the Mid-Day, the actress had talked about switching to an eco-friendly idol. She had stated, "As a celebrity, we have to be responsible for our actions. One must be the change they want to see. I live on the beach, and it was a heartbreaking sight after visarjan. The pollution it causes is massive. Hence, the decision to change 4 years ago."
