Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty Kundra have reinstated our faith in love and marriage with their rock-solid relationship. Their love story had begun when the duo had met for the first time for a business meeting. After falling head-over-heels in love with one another, Shilpa and Raj had begun their forever journey in 2009. In 2012, the couple had embraced parenthood and welcomed their baby boy, Viaan Raj Kundra. They had completed their family by welcoming their baby girl, Samisha Shetty Kundra, in 2020 via surrogacy.

On July 19, 2021, Raj Kundra hit the headlines when he was arrested by Mumbai Police for his alleged involvement in creating pornographic movies and publishing them through some apps. Raj was arrested along with 11 other people, but the 45-year-old businessman is said to be the key conspirator in the case.
Confirming Raj Kundra's arrest, Mumbai Police Commissioner, Hemant Nagrale said, "There was a case registered with Crime Branch Mumbai in February 2021 about the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps. We’ve arrested Mr Raj Kundra in this case on 19/7/21 as he appears to be the key conspirator of this."
Raj, who has been booked under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays), was taken for medical examination after his arrest. He will be produced before the 37th Esplanade metropolitan magistrate's court on July 20, 2021.
It was in February 2021 when the racket publishing pornographic content with Raj Kundra's alleged involvement was busted. A woman had approached Mumbai Police with the allegations on Raj for luring men and women with the pretext of giving them work in web series and instead, forcing them to act in adult movies.

As per the reports of Indian Express, Raj had sought anticipatory bail and had approached a session court in Mumbai in June 2021. It was regarding a case filed by cyber police regarding a complaint accusing certain websites of publishing obscene content. The report further stated that a tech start-up employee, connected with Raj Kundra was also arrested for the same. Although the employee was granted bail, the arrest was made on the statement of model, Sherlyn Chopra.
A few months back, in a statement with the Maharashtra Cyber Cell, models, Sherlyn Chopra and Poonam Pandey had said that Raj Kundra was the one, who brought them to the adult industry. Sherlyn had also revealed that she was paid Rs 30 lakh for each project by Raj and she had done 15 to 20 projects for him.
When Raj was summoned by the police, he claimed to have no involvement with the case and also shared that he had submitted documents of his investment as well as exit from the startup. Meanwhile, ANI tweeted a picture of Raj entering a police station and tweeted, "Businessman Raj Kundra has been arrested by the Crime Branch in a case relating to the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps. He appears to be the key conspirator. We have sufficient evidence regarding this: Mumbai Police Commissioner."
On November 22, 2020, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Raj Kundra had celebrated their 11th marriage anniversary, and Shilpa had penned a sweet, 'no filter' note for her hubby. For the unversed, before marrying Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra was married to Kavita but the couple got separated in 2006.
