Former Indian cricketer, Shikhar Dhawan, on January 12, 2026, got engaged to his girlfriend, Sophie Shine. The couple is all set to get married in the third week of February 2026 in Delhi-NCR. Shikhar's friends and family will attend the wedding ceremony. It has been reported earlier that big Bollywood and sports personalities will be attending the wedding. Now, Shikhar, after announcing his engagement a while back, took to his Instagram to share his first post with Sophie, and it seemed the couple had the perfect vacation.

Shikhar Dhawan, a while back, took to his Instagram handle to share romantic pictures with his fiancee, Sophie, from the beach. The pair was seen walking hand in hand on the beach, then taking a bike ride along the highway. They were also seen gorging on some local food while Shikhar also posed topless on the beach, penned a few lines in his notebook by the beach and spent quality time together. The couple has shared the first snaps after his engagement. He captioned their pictures as:

"Not chasing moments. Just living them."

For the unversed, Shikhar Dhawan was previously married to Aesha Mukerji, who is based in Melbourne. They married in 2012, and by September 2021, the ex-couple separated. Their divorce was a toxic affair, and their son, Zoravar, also doesn't stay with Shikhar. Fans were happy that the cricketer found true love for the second time. Shikhar Dhawan, in an earlier interview with Aaj Tak, revealed that he would never point fingers at his ex-wife, Aesha, for the failure of their relationship. He revealed he failed because he was not aware, and compared it with his knowledge of cricket, which grew with experience. Shikhar, speaking on avoiding red flags in his relationship with Aesha Mukerji, shared:

"Tomorrow, if I want to marry again, I will be much more wiser in that field. I’ll know what kind of girl I need; someone whom I can spend my life with. When I was 26-27 and I was continuously playing, I was not in any relationship. I used to have fun, but was never in a relationship. So, when I fell in love, I couldn’t see the red flags. But today, if I fall in love, I will be able to see those red flags. So, if I see those red flags, I will walk out. If not, I will carry."
