The emotions of a woman when she becomes a mother cannot be explained in mere words. With the arrival of a child, a couple’s life takes a complete 360-degree turn. All their leisure time is taken over by their little munchkin. For newbie parents, it might be a tiring job but nothing equals the emotions they undergo every morning looking at the face of their little wonder. Television actress, Shikha Singh and her hubby, Karan Shah are going through all these emotions as they had embraced parenthood and had welcomed a little angel in her lives. Shikha Singh is famous for her role as ‘Alaya’ in the daily soap, Kumkum Bhagya. Shikha had married her pilot boyfriend, Karan after dating him for some time. And after four years of marital bliss, the couple had embraced parenthood. On June 16, 2020, Shikha and Karan had gotten blessed with a baby girl and in an interview with the Bombay Times, Shikha had revealed that they have named their daughter, Alayna Singh Shah.
On December 16, 2020, Shikha and Karan’s little girl completed six months and the doting mumma couldn’t believe how time passed by so quickly. Shikha took to her IG handle and shared adorable pictures of Alayna’s half birthday celebrations, where the little doll posed for the camera with her parents. Baby Alayna looked adorable in an animal printed onesie with a matching headband. Along with the pictures, Shikha penned her emotions and wrote, “Oh girl! How time fleets! Happy 6 months Baby Al! You are exactly what I wished for. You are god sent & you have not just made me a mother but have made me realise so many things on so many levels. We have so many things to do together & I can’t wait to relive my life with you again as a growing girl. I wish u all the best & I wish u grow up to this kindhearted girl who will only & only spread smiles & love cos that’s what we need in life the most. I’m so grateful to have you in our lives & I can’t stop thanking God for that. I love you to moon & back & u make everything worthwhile my love. God bless you!”
When Alayna had completed three months on September 16, 2020, Shikha had shared an adorable post for her. The doting mommy had made a collage of her little baby girl, Alayna with her cute pictures of when she was one-month-old, two-months-old and three-months-old. Posting the beautiful collage on her IG handle, she had penned a heartfelt note for her goofball which could be read as "HAPPY 3 MONTHS!!! And just like that u completed your big milestone #3monthsold. Oh boy! What a ride, you make everything worthwhile & thank you for choosing us as your family. We are loving it & I hope you grow up to be this beautiful person inside out & spread love & kindness cos the world really needs it. It was on August 18, 2020, when Shikha had revealed the face of her little angel. She had taken to her IG handle and had shared an adorable picture of Alayna wherein the doting mommy, Shikha was seen admiring her little princess. Along with the picture, Shikha had written, “The way u look at me makes me wonder, what did I do to have you in my life. U are heavenly, angelic, dramatic & somewhat forever hungry.
