Bollywood actress, Kiara Advani will be seen next in the biographical drama, Shershaah, based on the life of Kargil War's hero, late Captain Vikram Batra, alongside her rumoured beau, Sidharth Malhotra. Since the release of Shershaah's trailer on July 25, 2021, the BTS pictures of the film are making everyone stunned with the uncanny resemblance between the real-life couple, Captain Vikram Batra-Dimple Cheema and on-screen couple, Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani.
Now, ahead of the film's release, some unseen pictures of the actors, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, has left everyone impressed with their respective looks in the much-awaited film, Shershaah.

Recently we stumbled upon some unseen pictures of Sidharth Malhotra with late Captain Vikram Batra's portraits and all the gallantry awards and honours he had to his name. In the picture, we can also get a clear glimpse of the legendary fighter's surreal portrait. But what caught our attention was Sidharth's unreal resemblance with Vikram Batra after he posed standing in front of the soldier's photo. It clearly shows why Shershaah's director, Vishnuvardhan, had chosen him for this film.
Moving forward towards Captain Vikram Batra's lifeline, Dimple Cheema, whose role in the movie is portrayed by the extremely talented actress, Kiara Advani. Although the facial structure of Dimple and Kiara shows some mere difference, it's hard not to compliment the makeup and costume designers of the film, who had done an incredible job in bringing the resemblance percentage to a high. The internet is already filled with Kiara's uncanny similarity with a young Dimple Cheema, and it simply excites us more for this much-awaited film.

It is not all about the makeup and getup of the actors, as both Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra have done extensive research to get into the skin of their characters. On August 4, 2021, when Kaira had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a video in which she and Sidharth Malhotra could be seen reflecting on their preparation for their respective roles. Also, they revealed how important it was to meet Vikram Batra's family and Dimple Cheema in person.
In the video, Kiara Advani had stated that the moment late Captain Vikram Batra's parents, G.L. Batra and Kamal Kanta Batra, had seen Sidharth Malhotra, they had admitted that he reminds them of their son. She had also added that Captain Batra's parents were keen for Sid to play their son in the film. Going further in the video, Sidharth had also opened up about his visit to Captain Batra's home and had called it an overwhelming experience. Along with this video, Kiara had penned a small note in the caption, and it could be read as "From real to reel."
