Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty Kundra have been leading all the headlines for the past few months because of the former's alleged involvement in creating porn movies and publishing them through a mobile application. It was on the night of July 19, 2021, when the Mumbai police arrested Raj along with 11 other people. Raj is said to be the key conspirator in the case.
On September 15, 2021, the Crime Branch of the Mumbai Police filed a supplementary charge sheet against her husband, Raj Kundra. In a statement given by Shilpa Shetty, the actress had stated that she wasn't aware of what her husband, Raj Kundra was up to as she was busy with her own professional commitments. She had even added that she was not aware of the controversial apps 'Hotshots' or 'Bollyfame', which are claimed to be linked to the porn racket case.

Now, actress, Sherlyn Chopra reacts to Shilpa Shetty's statement of not being aware of her husband's business. Taking a dig at Shilpa, Sherlyn posted a video on her Twitter handle and stated, "According to some reports, didi is saying that she was not aware of the nefarious activities of her husband. Didi is also saying that she doesn’t know about the movable and immovable assets of her husband. How true is this statement, you guys can understand yourselves.” She further added a remark, “Waise isey kya kehte hain? Yeda bankar, peda khana. Hai na?"
During the search of Shilpa and Raj's Juhu house, the officials have reportedly found a cupboard hidden in a cavity and few files of 48TB worth of images and videos, most of which is adult content. According to a report of Free Press Journal, Shilpa had revealed to the officials that she didn't know anything about the app and what happened in her husband's firm and only got to know it from the newspapers.

According to various reports, it is alleged that Shilpa Shetty is all set to move out of Raj Kundra's mansion, along with their children, Viaan and Samisha. As per a report of Bollywood Hungama, Shilpa's close friend was quoted as saying, "Raj Kundra's troubles aren't going away in a hurry. On the contrary, they seem to be multiplying every week. The disclosure of Raj Kundra's alleged link with adult content came as much a shock to Shilpa as the rest of us. She had no clue that the diamonds and duplex were coming from nefarious resources."

Raj Kundra was booked under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays).
