The ‘Angry Young Man’ of the telly world, Sidharth Shukla has left the nation in utter shock with his untimely demise on the morning of September 2, 2021, due to a massive heart attack. He was known for his role in shows like Balika Vadhu and Dil Se Dil Tak. He had also made his debut in Bollywood with the film, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. The actor was last seen in the web show, Broken But Beautiful 3, and had emerged as a winner of reality shows, Bigg Boss 13 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7.
While Sidharth Shukla’s sudden death has stunned everyone, his huge fandom is worried about his alleged girlfriend, Shehnaaz Gill. Shehnaaz and Sidharth had met during their stint in Bigg Boss 13 and the Punjabi actress had lost her heart to him. While it was ek tarfa pyaar for Shehnaaz, Sidharth had always considered her a friend. Even after two years to the show, Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill shared a cordial bond, and now, it’s all broken!

According to PTI, talking about Sidharth Shukla’s death, a senior Cooper Hospital official stated, "He was brought dead to the hospital some time ago.” Everyone is worried about Shehnaaz Gill, while some reports stated that it was her, who had found Sidharth in a dead state, according to a source of India Today, Shehnaaz Gill left the shooting as soon as she heard the news of his death.
In a conversation with SpotboyE, Shehnaaz Gill's father, Santokh Singh Sukh talked about her situation after Sidharth Shukla's demise. He said, "I am not in the condition to talk right now. I cannot believe whatever has happened." When he was asked if he had talked to Shehnaaz after Sidharth's death, he said, "I spoke to her. She is not fine. My son Shehbaaz has left for Mumbai to be with her and I will be going later."
Shehnaaz Gill had always expressed her love for Sidharth Shukla. Earlier, in an interview with Spotboye, Shehnaaz Gill was asked about her relationship with Sidharth Shukla, to which the actress had responded, “Yes I am in a relationship with Sidharth but as a friend. I had said that I love him. And, he's protective about me. As he's protective, I am not waiting to hear 'I love you' from him. He's a very good friend of mine and I don't want to lose him as a friend. Waise, love relationships kahan chalte hain aajkal long time ke liye?”

When she was asked about her attraction towards the angry young man of Bigg Boss 13, Sidharth Shukla, the actress had replied saying, “Attraction hai, pyaar bhi hai lekin agar udhar se aisa nahin mila, toh I don't want to lose such a good friend like Sidharth. We can remain as friends forever, it is not necessary to get into a relationship.” When asked, if Sidharth would ever ask her to get into a steady and permanent relationship, Shehnaaz had quipped, “I don't know if he'll say that or not. Agar bolega toh haan theek hai, but right now I am not thinking about what he's not saying.”
It was in an interview with The Times Of India that Shehnaaz had accepted her love for Sidharth but she had also accepted the fact that she is afraid of losing him, so she is okay being friends with him. She had said, "Initially I used to feel bad and get hurt, but I have understood that I don't want to lose him at any cost. I love him a lot, but he considers me as a very close friend."
