Shefali Shah is one of the most versatile actresses in the Indian film industry. She mesmerised her millions of fans with her stint in some blockbuster films, including Darlings, Jalsa, Human, Dil Dhadakne Do, and many more. Coming to her personal life, she is married to the love of her life, Vipul Amrutlal Shah, and the duo is blessed with two sons, Aryaman and Maurya. On July 15, 2023, Shefali Shah took to her Instagram handle and posted a picture featuring her sons, along with a series of notes. In the picture, the actress gave a glimpse of her boys, Aryaman and Maurya, who were engrossed in sleep while their mommy was busy parking. Afterwards, she mentioned how melodramatically she met her kids, unlike the boys, who asked her to stop overacting. Sharing the picture along with the first note, the Jasla actress wrote in the caption as:
"I MET MY KIDSSSSS and this is how it went #TravelDiariesOfAPersistentMom."

Further, Shefali mentioned how the word 'Chill' was once the most used in her life. But gradually, post-embracing motherhood, she got entangled in the chores of life and lost her coolness. Later, she compared herself with a cartoon character, 'Minion', and mentioned why she couldn't have a chilled attitude. At the end of her picture messages, Shefali also mentioned using the words 'calm down' in her life and penned down her feelings about being a doting mommy.

In an episode of the ANI podcast, Shefali Shah opened up about facing molestation in public places. Talking about the same, she mentioned how low it feels to be touched inappropriately in public. She recalled the incident and stated that she was touched incorrectly in a crowded market, but she never spoke about it became it was shameful. She also talked about how women start doubting themselves when an incident like molestation happens. Elaborating more about it, the actress stated that, like any other woman, she too questioned herself if she had done anything to invite such actions. Shefali even mentioned how women generally don't talk much about such incidents and try to keep it to themselves.
