Shefali Shah is known as one of the most talented actresses in the film industry. She is extremely loved for her strong portrayal of many female-centric roles. On the professional front, the stunning actress was also nominated at the International Emmy Awards 2023 for her performance in the series, Delhi Crime 2. Talking about her personal life, she was first married to actor, Harsh Chhaya in 1997. However, soon things turned sour between them, and they got divorced in 2000. Following this, Shefali gave love a second chance with ace film producer, Vipul Amrutlal Shah. They tied the knot in 2000 and are blessed with two sons, Maurya and Aryaman.
Recently, Shefali Shah graced the latest episode of the popular TV reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, alongside social worker, Hare Ram Pandey. During the course of the episode, the two guests talked about various issues faced by baby girls in society along with the show's host, Amitabh Bachchan. Moreover, while Shefali shared a personal experience of wanting a baby girl instead of a boy during her second delivery, Hare Ram talked about the difficulties of taking care of multiple children. Shefali and Hare Ram finished the game using all three lifelines and won Rs. 25,70,000 cash prize on the show's ‘Shaandaar Somvaar’ special episode.

In the same episode, Shefali also recalled a small incident from her personal life. She was heard narrating what had happened during her second delivery. The actress mentioned that post-delivery, when doctors informed her that she was blessed with a baby boy, she asked them to recheck. Then, further talking about the cruelty female infants and girl children used to face, Shefali shared:
“When a baby is born, it is a very happy moment. It is for me also, specially a girl. I have two boys. First time, it was ok. He was my first born, very excited. During the second delivery, when he was born, doctor said, ‘kitna khubsurat beta hai’. I said, ‘dobar check kar lo shayad beti ho.’ There are so many people, who want a girl. Even in this day and age at some places, babies are abandoned and specially if it’s a girl.”
Shefali Shah is an avid social media user and keeps sharing stunning glimpses from her life. On July 15, 2023, she took to her IG handle and posted a picture featuring her sons, along with a series of notes. In the picture, Shefali's sons, Aryaman and Maurya were seen engrossed in sleep while their mommy was busy parking her car. In the post's caption, the actress mentioned how melodramatically she met her kids. However, the boys asked her to stop overacting. Sharing the picture along with the first note, the Jalsa actress wrote in the caption as:
"I MET MY KIDSSSSS and this is how it went #TravelDiariesOfAPersistentMom."

Further, Shefali shared some picture messages and mentioned how the word 'Chill' was once the most used in her life. However, post-embracing motherhood, she got entangled in life's chores and gradually lost her coolness. She also compared herself with a cartoon character, 'Minion'. At the end of her picture messages, Shefali revealed how she uses the words 'calm down' in her life and penned down her true feelings about being a doting mommy.
