Nina Dobrev got engaged to Shaun White back in 2024, and it was by September 2025, reports confirmed that the couple had parted ways. While the reason behind their breakup was not known, it was revealed by PEOPLE that it was a mutual decision, but it was certainly not an easy one.

Nina and Shaun's relationship began in 2020, and they stayed together for about five years. Well, almost nine months have passed after his engagement ended with Nina, and now, as it seemed, he is slowly moving on in his life. Recently, TMZ released a photo of Shaun White that showed him with a mystery girl. So, did Nina's ex-fiancé find love again? Let's have a look!

Recently, TMZ released a photo of Shaun White, wherein he was seen with a mystery girl. According to the reports, the duo was in Kiki's Greek restaurant on the Lower East Side. According to the buzz, the couple chatted for a while and had a good time. Shaun and his mystery girl grabbed a bite before they left the place, and reportedly, there was no PDA between the couple, but they looked quite into each other. According to TMZ sources, even though Shaun is apparently dating, it's not that serious and rather is a casual time, and he's having a good time.

Speaking of Nina Dobrev, there's no update about her personal life as of now. Soon after her broken engagement with Shaun White, she was spotted with her ex-beau, Glen Powell and his rumoured current partner, Michelle Randolph. This scene instantly grabbed the attention and people started speaking about the same, however, as it seemed, it was a mere outing, rather than anything else. Well, given that Shaun is currently dating, as the reports are claiming, it seems that the American former snowboarder and skateboarder is moving on.

Shaun White and Nina Dobrev had a brief meet-up in 2012 at an award show, but they didn't interact much. However, it was in 2019 when the duo met again at a motivational workshop led by Tony Robbins in Florida. Soon after their presentation, Shaun and Nina decided to have dinner together. Shaun later revealed to PEOPLE that he had no idea about the actress back then, and was left surprised when people were asking for photos with her.

In 2020, when the pandemic hit, the couple moved in together, and according to him, Nina felt like a 'lifesaver' to him. The couple would share glimpses from their life, and the snippets only screamed volumes about the love they shared between them. In 2024, they got engaged; however, 11 months later, they decided to part ways. 

The reason for their breakup was not known, it was said to be a mutual split. A few weeks before the breakup news, Nina sat for an interview with E! News, wherein she was asked about her marriage plans. Nina revealed that she was in no rush to get married, adding that the boyfriend phase is longer than the fiancé phase, and she wanted to hold onto the fun title for a little longer. While this alone couldn't prove the actual reason for their split, speculations about the same statement started doing the rounds, as people thought this very much could be one of the reasons. One of Nina's TikTok videos went viral, wherein she lip-synced to a clip, that spoke about 'fixing' men, who got a lot of women to fix them. The words on the clip were:

"What's your advice for women trying to fix their man? Listen, Bob the Builder, he's got 10 other women trying to fix him too, and you all look like a damn construction crew."
