Zomato CEO, Deepinder Goyal started hitting the headlines with his appearance in the popular business reality show, Shark Tank India 3. For the unversed, Deepinder founded Zomato (then known as Foodiebay.com) and began his entrepreneurial journey in 2008 from his own apartment, which is now one of the biggest food-delivery apps in India. While the food delivery app's presence in the Indian market needs no introduction, the co-founder of the same, Deepinder too, enjoys a huge fan following. His in-depth analysis of all the pitchers' presentations to subtly pulling their legs gave him immense love from the show's viewers.
Thus, Deepinder Goyal's personal life is also not much away from the limelight. Latest reports confirming his marital status with former Mexican model, Grecia Munoz surfaced on the internet recently. But this was his second wedding. Earlier, he was married to Kanchan Joshi. For the unversed, the food-delivery platform, Zomato's CEO, Deepinder's second wife, Grecia too, runs her own startup in the luxury consumer products space.

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal was previously married to Kanchan Joshi, whom he is said to have met while studying at IIT Delhi. Deepinder fell in love with Kanchan gradually during their educational years as they were in the same departments - mathematics and computing. In an interview with Forbes, the entrepreneur talked about his love life. He revealed how he chased Kanchan for six months to pursue her. She was doing her MSc at that time and would often meet Deepinder in the labs.
In the interview, Deepinder mentioned, "I chased her for six months." And finally, when he was successful in persuading Kanchan, they would often hang out, and the rest became history. As per reports, Deepinder married Kanchan in the year 2007. The following year, he co-founded Zomato along with his close friend, Pankaj Chadda. Later, in 2013, Deepinder and Kanchan became parents to a beautiful daughter, whom they named Sitara. Explaining his relationship with Kanchan, Deepinder had added:
"We understand each other very well. We haven’t fought in years."
Again, it is noteworthy that Kanchan and Deepinder do not publicly announce their separation, and the reasons behind it are also best known to them. A few years post their separation, pictures went viral showing Deepinder partying with his then-alleged girlfriend-now-wife, Grecia.

Kanchan is currently an eminent Assistant Mathematics professor at Delhi University. One look at her LinkedIn profile, and we can easily access all her educational qualifications. For the uninitiated, Kanchan did her BSc in Mathematics from Delhi University and MSc in the same discipline from IIT Delhi. Later, she also did her PhD at IIT Delhi.
As per multiple reports, the prominent figure in India's startup scene, Deepinder Goyal was in a relationship with Grecia Munoz for some time ahead of their wedding. Deepinder and Grecia reportedly got married in February 2024, and soon, they went on a honeymoon. Although, neither Grecia nor Deepinder have confirmed their marriage, her latest Instagram bio proves the same. Taking to her Instagram bio, Grecia mentioned that she is “now at home in India”. Following this, Grecia has also shared multiple photos from her Delhi trip.
Well, much pictures of Kanchan Joshi are not available on the internet as it seems that she prefers to stay away from the limelight.
