On March 17, 2022, Raqesh had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a video. The actor was seen with his darling girlfriend, Shamita. They had enjoyed the full moon night with a beautiful view and had celebrated Holika Dahan with Shamita's sister, Shilpa's family. The couple was decked up in casual ensembles. Alongside it, Raqesh had written:

On March 27, 2022, Raqesh Bapat's mother, Sheetal took to her Instagram handle and shared two beautiful pictures with her children, Raqesh and Isha, along with Raqesh's ladylove, Shamita Shetty. Shamita paid a visit to Raqesh's family in Pune. Sharing the photos, Sheetal added a heart emoji, a hug and feeling blessed emoticons in the caption. Check it out:
Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat enjoy a massive fanbase. And, as soon as the pictures were uploaded, Shamita and Raqesh's fans went crazy. They flooded the comment section with their love and admiration. One of them wrote, “Awwwwwwww tai thank you so much for posting.” Another fan commented, "listen guys our heart is weak, it is not easy to process things for us. someone hold me please i am crying." In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Raqesh Bapat had opened up about his relationship with his actress-girlfriend, Shamita Shetty. He had explained how their relationship works and called her a 'dear friend'. Calling Shamita a like-minded person, Raqesh had admitted that he's glad to have her in his life and had revealed the current equation between him and Shamita. He had said:
"I'll tell you this, it's all about the energy two people carry with each other. That has to be worked on for anything to happen. We are in a happy zone; she is a dear friend. Friendship has to be so strong that nothing else can affect it. She is a pure soul. I value people who are honest. We have a lot of common interests. It's interesting to have like-minded people (Around you)."
On February 2, 2022, Raqesh had celebrated the birthday of his girlfriend, Shamita. He had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a couple of romantic pictures. In one of the photos, he was seen lifting Shamita in his arms. Alongside it, he had written, "Happy birthday, love."
