Such is the case with Qubool Hai and Swaragini fame, actress Shalini Kapoor and Naagin 2 fame, Rohit Sagar. The couple tied the knot on July 10, 2008, and yesterday they celebrated their tenth anniversary.
Shalini Kapoor shared two pics on her anniversary and captioned the pics, “Simple we.. Simple thought... Happy anniversary to us))))”. Take a look at the pics here:
To a media portal, talking about her tenth anniversary, Shalini was quoted as saying, “We are completing 10 years of marriage on July 10 and that's what makes it unique. I think the secret to a happy married life is when you learn to smoothly switchover pedestals. Sometimes he would lead and sometimes me over day to do decisions as well as crucial ones. It's so amazing to walk hand in hand through thick and thin, summers and rains. God has been super kind and I can't thank Rohit enough for being such a supportive friend and partner. He made me a better human being over the period of time and I hope he feels the same for me”. Her hubby, Rohit added, “I'm extremely thankful to almighty for all these blissful years of our married life. I was honestly nervous when we got married because as I thought I am not cut out for one. Its shalini's honesty and spirit towards this institution which made it happen. It's woman who makes a good husband and a good home and I think am extremely lucky to have her”.
Once in an interview, talking about her hubby, Shalini had said, “We are like teenagers... Mad and crazy people filled with love for each other. I feel like I have been successful in balancing my acting career with my role as a wife and mother”.
She further added, “We try to keep our marriage happy and the love just multiplies each day. The bond has been strengthened by our daughter Aadhya and this was our first holiday without her”.
Rohit is definitely a lucky husband to have such a supportive wife by his side. Giving us a sneak peek into their married life, Rohit once shared, "Even an argument ends up with laughter. She is funny and caring. I often irritate her with my OCD, but in the end... She knows who my world is!" Last year, on their ninth anniversary, Shalini had happily commented to a media channel, “I feel blessed to complete nine years of marriage and it all seems so fresh and exciting till date from the beginning. There is no dullness in our lives”.
On the professional front, Shalini Kapoor will next be seen as Janhvi Kapoor’s mother in the latter’s debut film, Dhadak. We wish Shalini and Rohit a very happy marriage anniversary! Here’s praying to more years of togetherness for the both of you.
