Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor is married to the love of his life, Mira Rajput Kapoor. They are blessed with two cute munchkins, Misha and Zain and are living the best phase of their lives. And as this is quite normal for people to date someone else before finally finding their life partners, Mira and Shahid too had a similar story. While the chocolate boy, Shahid's ex-relationships with Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, and many others are quite well-known to his millions of fans, hardly anything is known about his wife, Mira's dating life. However, upon digging into some facts, we got to know that Mira was in a serious relationship with an actor before her marriage to Shahid.
The Delhi-based gorgeousness, Mira Rajput Kapoor did her schooling from Vasant Valley School and graduated in English (Hons) from Delhi University’s prestigious Lady Shri Ram College. Not only that, she has also done an internship with the United Nations. However, during her schooling days, she was in a relationship with Aditya Lal. As per multiple reports, Mira and Aditya were quite serious about each other. However, they had reportedly parted ways after dating for two years. A few photographs showcasing Mira and Aditya hugging each other had also surfaced on the internet during Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput's wedding.

A source close to Mira Rajput had once confirmed her dating rumours in an interview with BollywoodLife. The source was quoted as saying that Aditya was a year older than Mira, and the duo was often spotted visiting a mall near their school together. The source had revealed:
"Aditya and Mira were in the same school (Vasant Valley, Delhi). Aditya was a batch elder to Mira, but that didn't stop them from falling in love with each other. In fact, they used to go on many dates in the mall near the school. However, things didn't work out between the two after which they decided to call it quits."
However, as destiny had other plans for Mira and Aditya, they soon parted ways. Moreover, the source had stated that post-schooling, Aditya went to Loughborough University in London for further studies. And by the time, Aditya returned to India, Mira had already moved on with Shahid. Even when Aditya was ready to get back with Mira, she refused him, and their relationship couldn't stand the test of time. The source had shared:
"He returned to the country last year and wanted to get back to her, but she obviously refused because Shahid came into her life."
Coming to Mira Rajput and Shahid Kapoor's marital bliss, they were set up by their families for an arranged marriage in 2014. And after a whirlwind of romance, Shahid got hitched to a 14 years younger girl, Mira on July 7, 2015, at The Oberoi Hotel, Gurgaon. Their wedding festivity went week-long and looked simply out of a fairytale at their Anand Karaj ceremony. Fast forward to now, Mira is already the backbone of Shahid's family and the couple is seen celebrating the best of their moments together.

On the other hand, Mira Rajput's ex-boyfriend, Aditya Lal made his acting debut with the television series, Date Gone Wrong in 2018. Afterwards, he was also seen in many other web series, including Apaharan (2018), Asur: Welcome to Your Dark Side (2020) and Apharan 2 (2022).
