Shahid Kapoor is currently busy promoting his upcoming film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, co-starring Kriti Sanon in the lead role. The film will hit the theatres on February 9, 2024. Coming to Shahid's personal life, he is happily married to his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor. Together, they are blessed with two cute little munchkins, Misha and Zain. Every now and then, Shahid keeps revealing many unknown anecdotes from his personal life, and he never misses a chance to give pure couple goals.
In a candid chat during the promotion of their film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon were heard revealing the kind of partners they like/want in their lives. At first, the interviewer asked them, "What if your partners are workaholics and have no time and have to do.." To this, the stars were just asked to answer in 'yes' or 'no' and also mention the reason behind the same. Thus, interrupting her, Shahid quickly mentioned, "It's a no for me." To confirm his answer, the interviewer further asked him, "It's a no?" Then, Shahid was heard explaining,
"Yeah, I need time, I'am demanding. If you are so busy for me then I find other people to get busy with. You are okay with this?"

On the other hand, Kriti was also heard answering, "Of course, I need time. Workaholic people can also take a time, it depends on what you wanna do apparently." But when she listened to Shahid's answer, she added, "I love the disclaimer that has come through. Married but okay to be taken as seriously." However, soon, Shahid explained that the answers were just part of the game and said, "I'm supposed to be single right now", to which both Kriti and the interviewer were heard affirming while breaking into laughter.
Following this, the interviewer asked the stars, "(What if your partner) Loves you a lot but isn't very expressive about you." To this, Shahid was heard explaining that although he doesn't have any problem with his partner if they aren't very expressive but they need to have genuine love for him. However, the actor also mentioned that those, who would fake their love towards him, he would like to block them from his life. In Shahid's words:
"If they love me, I'm okay. Because if they actually love me but are not expressive as who supposed to someone who doesn't love me but are showing me a lot. I hate those kinds. Unko block kardunga. I f I feel genuinely hai toh theek hai, their personality isn't very expressive. But thoda toh chahiye."

In contrast, Kriti said that she wants an expressive partner. But listening to this, Shahid asked Kriti to search for love in her partner's eyes. He said, "Uski aankho mein dekh lena andar pyaar hoga." But Kriti quickly quipped, "Aesa bahut andar bhi nhi hona chahiye, thora at least bahar hona chahiye" and further explained her point.
Both Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput are avid social media users and keep expressing their love for each other online. Moreover, being an exceptional dancer, the actor often posts glimpses of his and Mira’s dancing moments on his social media handles. For instance, when Mira turned a year older on September 7, 2022, Shahid hosted a birthday party for her, and they had a great time together. In a picture shared by her post the event, Mira was seen completely lost in Shahid's embrace while the duo was seen dancing. Along with the priceless picture, Mira bared her heart out and wrote:
"I had the time of my life, and I’ve never felt this way before. The love of my life @shahidkapoor, thank you for the best memories! It was a night to remember. I’m one lucky girl. All my friends who came down, you mean the world to me and you know who you are. And thank you all for the wishes, I am so overwhelmed with your love and warmth."
