For the unversed, in an episode of Bigg Boss 20, Aman broke down in tears as he opened up about his past relationship and breakup. Aman and Shagun Sharma parted ways while working on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. Now, in an interview, Shagun reacted to his emotional breakdown inside the BB 20 house. She also clarified that she is single and is not intending to date anytime soon.
Shagun Sharma breaks the silence on her ex-boyfriend, Aman Gandhi's emotional breakdown
In a recent interview with Zoom, Shagun Sharma broke the silence on her ex-boyfriend, Aman Gandhi’s emotional breakdown on Salman Khan-hosted show. For the uninitiated, Aman opened up about his previous relationship with Shagun. Although he didn’t take Shagun’s name, it was pretty clear who he was pointing at. He said:
"Now I feel I understand why she went to South Africa and kept talking only to me. Now it makes sense. I just hope that when I go out, she has not moved on."
Aman and Shagun reportedly began dating around late 2024. In a 2025 interview, Shagun confirmed that they began dating even before the show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 started. Rumours about Shagun and Aman dating each other first started doing the rounds around Valentine’s Day 2025 after the former couple posted an adorable picture together.
Reacting to Aman’s statement, Shagun said that he didn’t put in extra effort then, when things were not going well between them. However, she didn’t take Aman’s name. Shagun shared that she felt that what Aman was doing inside the Bigg Boss 20 house was not okay. According to Shagun, the time and place were not right. However, she does understand that when a person is alone and has no friends, they could get high on their emotions.
In the same interview, Shagun stated that Aman’s breakup statement inside the Bigg Boss 20 house has put unfair pressure on her. She said no one can decide whether she should move on from the relationship. According to Shagun, it is her personal life and her own decision. She said:
"I have not done anything wrong. It's not cool to put that pressure on me. People are messaging me, 'Don't move on. Someone is missing you. He is crying for you.' It's not fair."
Further, in the interview, Shagun clarified that she is still single and is not planning to move on anytime soon. Taking a subtle dig at Aman, Shagun shared that the person inside the BB 20 house should realise that the person sitting outside would have to face the repercussions. She added that if she wants to move on, she will. The Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 star highlighted that she was enjoying being single.

In an interview, Aman shared that it was the second time he was offered Bigg Boss. He revealed that the first offer came in 2022-23, and it was for the OTT version. At the time, he was doing the show, Bhagya Lakshmi.
