On July 12, 2021, Shabana Azmi took to her Twitter handle and shared a stunning picture from the day when fabled actor, late Sunil Dutt had introduced her to his son, Sanjay Dutt, for the first time. In the monochrome picture, both Shabana and Sunil looked simply out of this world. However, the side glimpse of young Sanjay is enough to bring back the memories of his film, Rocky, right in front of our eyes.
Another special thing about this iconic picture is the fact that it was clicked by Sunil Dutt's daughter, Priya Dutt. Along with the picture, Shabana penned a sweet and simple note, and it can be read as "Being introduced to a young #Sanjay Dutt by his father #Sunil Dutt Saheb . Photo courtesy #Priya Dutt". The picture is doing rounds on the internet for all the right reasons. While some of Shabana Azmi's fans are in love with her simplicity in the picture, some are losing their hearts over Sunil Dutt's dashing appearance in the photo.
For the unversed, Shabana Azmi and Sunil Dutt had an amicable bond with each other, and the two had always spoken highly of each other in their respective interviews. The two iconic superstars had worked in the film, Yaadon Ki Zanjeer. After Sunil Dutt's demise on May 25, 2005, in an interview with a media portal, Shabana Azmi had stated that his death is a huge loss not just to the Indian cinema but also to the whole nation. She had said, "He was a remarkable human being and was always a guide tower of strength whether it was in Bollywood or in any social movements."

Talking about Shabana Azmi's personal life, the actress had gotten married to legendary lyricist, Javed Akhtar on December 9, 1984. The two had gotten married after Javed had parted ways with his first wife, Honey Irani, with whom he has two kids, Zoya Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar. Last year on December 9, 2020, had completed 36 years of marital bliss. On their special day, Shabana had shared a rare picture along with a touching note for her husband, and it could be read as "On December 9 this year we will have been married for 36 years mashallah ..Javed says "Shabana and I are such good friends that even marriage couldn't destroy our friendship!"
