Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai fame actress, Sara Khan has always been in the limelight due to her professional and personal life. Reports have been rife that Sara is all set to tie the knot with her long-time friend and Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke fame, Ankit Gera. A source close to the alleged couple had recently shared with TellyChakkar, “They seem to be very much in love. Now, talking about her relationship status and marriage, Sar Khan has given an exclusive interview to The Times of India. On being asked about love, Sara Khan shared, "When you are young, love happens easily; at least, that’s how you perceive it. You fall for the person if you get a little bit of attention. You don’t think about practicalities; kabhi bhi kahin bhi ho jaata hai. But today, I have a rather mature perspective of love. It’s much deeper than what we assume it to be. And it’s difficult to happen."
Sara Khan commented on her rumoured upcoming wedding with Ankit Gera. She was quoted as saying, "Ankit and I are working together on several projects and so, we will be seen together. But that doesn’t mean that I am dating him. Link-ups happen every time I post a picture with a guy on my social media account."
Even though she has maintained her single stance rigidly, Sara revealed that she wants to experience motherhood. She retorted, "I don’t know if marriage is on the cards, but I definitely want to experience motherhood. It’s very important to have a child, as I feel that it completes the journey of a woman."
She further added, "In our society, it’s an unwritten law that you can’t have a child out of wedlock. I am not in agreement with that, but I am expected to follow it as I am a part of this society. I would like to have a child, depending on my work and financial security. I will take that step as soon as I am ready for it. I might also consider adoption." Recently, while talking to SpotboyE, Sara had opened up about Ankit and had said, "I can't be dating every guy I meet. Ankit and I are very old friends, and we recently met and clicked pictures. I don't know why people think that I will tie the knot with every guy I talk to. I am very much single and happy."
When Ankita Gera was probed about the rumours of their wedding, the actor had stated, "I and Sara are friends since 9 years. And now we are business partners too. As I have started my own production house. I have collaborated with her production for our first short film titled Husn-E-Hasan and we are travelling to Manali for the shoot this month. We are not only the producers but also acting in the film as main leads. With this association, we are also planning to bring some songs."
It must be noted here that Sara Khan was earlier married to Ali Merchant, and their wedding took place in 2010 on national television inside the Bigg Boss house.
