However, the diva has been in a steady relationship with her pilot boyfriend, Shantanu Raje. However, it seems like Sara's personal life hit a rough patch, as she recently announced her breakup with Shantanu Raje after two years of togetherness.
Taking to her IG handle a while ago, Sara Khan announced her breakup with her long-time boyfriend, Shantanu Raje. In a picture note, Sara mentioned that both she and Shantanu mutually decided to part ways and move on in their respective lives. Although, Sara didn't mention the reason for her breakup with Shantanu, she added in her note that both of them still hold equal admiration for one another. While requesting her fans to respect her privacy, Sara wrote:
"In the light of mutual understanding, my partner and I have chosen to part ways and progress individually in our respective lives. We hold great admiration for each other and we request that our privacy be revered. Thank you for your understanding”

After announcing her breakup, Sara Khan also posted some cryptic quotes on her IG stories. While in one, it was written 'move on', the other one read, 'Not everything is worth fixing'. One of Sara's IG stories even had a quote on 'abuse of second chances'. Check out the diva's posts below:
A few months ago, in an interview with ETimes, Sara Khan, on being asked about her marriage plans with her now ex-beau, Shantanu Raje, shared that they would tie the knot in 2023. Sara Khan also addressed that there had been some issues in their respective families about their relationship initially, but later, everything was sorted out with time.
In the same interview, Sara Khan also shared how Shantanu Raje made her believe in love again after her unfortunate experience with Ali Merchant. The actress said that although she needed more time to open her arms to welcome love again, it was easy for the kind of a person her now-ex had been. Mentioning how Shantanu keeps motivating her, Sara said:
"Yes, I took some time to understand but when you have a right partner who makes you realise that not everyone is bad then it becomes easy for you to decide. And with Shantanu I really did not have to think much because he has always proved the trust factor in our relationship and has always motivated me in life."

It was in 2010 when Sara Khan got married to Ali Merchant in an Islamic wedding ceremony, but after two months, the duo got divorced. However, talking about the same in an interview with The Times of India, Sara said that she holds zero regrets for her past decisions, but the Bigg Boss controversy is something that she could never erase. After her divorce from Ali, Sara Khan was speculated to be dating Paras Chhabra and Ankit Gera. For those who chipped in late, Ali Merchant got married for the third time with Andleeb Zaidi a month ago.
