Recently Sara Ai Khan talked about the positive comments she bagged for her film, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. The actress stated that the positive responses she received from the audience and the other actors in Bollywood were humbling and motivating. Talking about the same, Sara shared one such message that swells her heart with happiness every time, which was from her grandmom and the veteran actress, Sharmila Tagore. Sara shared that after watching ZHZB, Sharmila said it was '‘splendid and spontaneous". The diva added that her grandmom had told her that she had great comic timing and that her chemistry with Vicky was also lovely and organic in the same movie. Elaborating more on the same, Sara shared:
"The feedback and compliments that I have been receiving from all across for ZHZB are humbling and very motivating. My friends, family, well-wishers, and the industry have had some very nice things to say, and I’m truly thankful for that. But the one compliment that really stuck with me was my grandmother calling my performance ‘splendid and spontaneous.’ She said she thought I had great comic timing, and Vicky and I share lovely and organic chemistry. Whenever I read that message from her, it swells my heart with happiness. It’s a high achievement for me!"

On June 2, 2023, Sara Ali Khan took to her Instagram handle and dropped a beautiful reel with Sharmila Tagore. In the video, we could see Sara adorably hugging her badi amma while posing for the camera. The video was indeed beautiful. Both dadi-poti jodi shed some major fashion goals in the reel. Sara looked gorgeous as she donned a light-pink-hued top and paired it with matching shorts; Sharmila looked breathtaking as she opted for a floral printed shirt and paired it with denim jeans.

On February 26, 2023, Sara had taken to her IG handle and posted a beautiful picture with her grandmom. In the picture, the duo looked stunning as they both opted for traditional outfits. While Sara donned a white and blue-hued floral-printed kurta set, Sharmila looked beautiful in a blue-coloured saree. Sharing the picture, Sara had written:
"Mere sapno ki Rani Is my most stunning granny."
When Sara Ali Khan was on a promotional spree for her then-upcoming movie, Zara Hatke Zara Bchake, she visited Kolkata, her granny, Sharmila's birthplace. However, the actress revealed that she would inherit her most prized possession, i.e., her badi amma's beautiful chandbalas. Sharing more details on the same, Sara mentioned that those chandbalas were gifted to her granny by her mother-in-law, and it was then inherited by her mother, Amrita. However, the actress mentioned that she now possesses a written declaration from her grandfather stating that these earrings belong to her only.
