Bollywood actress, Sara Ali Khan is loved for her bubbly nature and stunning acting skills. Coming to her personal life, she is also extremely dedicated towards her family and glimpses of the same are often seen in her social media posts. However, her alleged relationship and breakup with the handsome hunk, Kartik Aaryan is known to all. After being head over heels in love with each other for quite some time, they parted ways for reasons best known to them. Fast forward to today, both Sara and Kartik are good friends, and are often seen cordially meeting each other on various occasions.
Now, as the latest episode of the controversial reality show, Koffee With Karan 8 was released, we can see Sara Ali Khan along with Ananya Panday, revealing some of the unknown things about their lives. However, without missing any chance, the host of the show, Karan Johar was heard quickly asking Sara about her relationship with Kartik Aaryan. But Sara didn't stop herself from answering Karan's questions honestly. She confirmed being in a relationship with Kartik and also revealed the after-effects of their breakup.

During the course of the conversation, Karan asked Sara how it was easy to be friends with Kartik after their alleged breakup. Answering it, Sara made it clear that it wasn't easy for her to be friends with her ex-boyfriend. Sara also explained how she gets emotionally invested in any relationship, and the breakup did affect her. She shared:
"I don't want to say that ya, it's all easy because then it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn't always easy. When you are involved with anybody, whether it's friends, professionally, romantically, especially if I am, I get involved and invested. It is not like, ‘Oh yeah, it doesn’t really matter, whatever its today, whatever its tomorrow'. It's not like that. It does effect you. But ultimately you have to rise beyond that."
Further, Sara continued by saying that now she has become mature enough to take things as it happens. Moreover, claiming that there is nothing permanent in Bollywood, she maturely answered that she would never repeat what she did in her past. Sara added:
“Something I have realised, without sounding semi-negative, is that there are no permanent predicaments in this business. In my personal experience, there is no point in making permanent best friendships, making pinky promises, or saying I'll never talk to you again. All these nevers and always nahi hota (doesn't happen)”.
It was in 2022 when Sara and Kartik were spotted together for the first time after their alleged breakup. However, they were seen posing together for the paps' lens as they appeared at an event. In the pictures, Sara looked stunning in a thigh-high slit black gown. On the other hand, Kartik looked dapper in a black suit and tie. But a bit of awkwardness in their body posture was also spotted as they posed for the cameras.

A Reddit user once shared a rare video of Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan. At the beginning of the clip, the duo was seen seated inside a golf cart, and it seemed that they got into an ugly argument. Soon, Sara stepped out of the cart and was seen crying profusely. Moreover, she was seen held by a friend as she walked away. However, netizens noticed that although Sara looked super upset, Kartik didn't try to calm her down.
