Sara, who has been rumoured to be dating Indian batsman, Shubman Gill for a very long time, has finally addressed the elephant in the room. For the unversed, the duo sparked dating rumours after pictures of their dinner date went viral on the internet. However, now, Sara opened up about her link-up rumours for the first time ever.
In the latest promo from an upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan 8, Sara Ali Khan graced the couch with her BFF, Ananya Panday. The duo unveiled many unknown secrets about each other, which was simply unmissable. However, the host, Karan Johar, took the golden opportunity and asked Sara about her dating rumours with Indian cricketer, Shubman Gill. Karan said:
"There were alleged rumours that you were dating Shubman Gill..."

While everyone was waiting for Sara Ali Khan to confirm she was dating Shubman Gill, the actress gave her fans a shocking surprise. Expressing her witty self, Sara told Karan that the whole world is after the wrong Sara, leaving the latter in splits. Sara Ali Khan was heard saying:
“You have got the wrong Sara, guys. Sara ka sara duniya galat Sara ke peechay pada hai."

When Shubman Gill appeared on Sonam Bajwa's talk show, Dil Diyan Gallan, in 2022, the cricketer was asked to name the fittest female actress in Bollywood. To this, Shubman instantly said, "Sara", and raised many eyebrows with his response. Then Sonam asked the cricketer if he was dating Sara, and he responded with "Maybe." This made Sonam go ROFL, and she asked Shubman to reveal the truth. To which, Shubman cutely said, "Sara da sara sach bol reyaan. Maybe, maybe not." Thus, his statement added fuel to the ongoing speculations of him dating Sara Ali Khan.

On October 31, 2023, the duo was spotted together at the Jio World Plaza event hosted by Isha Ambani in Mumbai. For the event, Sara looked breathtakingly beautiful in a red-hued ensemble, while Shubman opted for a black outfit. In a video doing rounds on the internet, the duo was seen leaving the venue. However, as they noticed the paparazzi stationed outside, Shubman abruptly stopped and engaged in a conversation with Sara and other people. Then Shubman exited first to make a sly escape, and Sara followed him after a while. The video went crazy viral on the internet.
